Moyes. Opinions? An Evertonian (friend of a friend and didn't see any hub caps missing outside) reckons he has heard this from a reliable source, and when I looked up at the ceiling of the pub he was very quick to remind me that his stint at managing Manure should be forgotten. His record at Everton should be taken seriously and he will probably be given more money to spend at West Ham than when he was at Everton, I was reminded. I get the Manure comment as replacing Fergie is virtually impossible so what do you think? Possible? Would it take us forward or would we remain static?

he bought everton a long way , there just not the same team now , in saying that though i dont think hes the man for us , we've got to go high profile this time

Hi mate, personally I think it would be a sideways step, I don't think Moyes would be the manager to make the changes that some fans crave but he'd be a safe bet for SUGO, not my choice though

I actually thought he was very decent at Everton but Dicks who iv'e chatted with about him thought he wasn't doing anything football wise better than Sam so maybe I was wrong.

Moyes is a safe bet that will ensure premier league status and probably keep us mid-table. For me though I would rather someone else but I don't know who at the moment. I thought maybe Benitez but he is a money spender and not sure Gold and Sullivan could meet his demands .

Is the man for me. He had his team well drilled over 2 legs against an in form Liverpool side and won. If he brought that well organised style to us then he will take us places. He done well with Croatia too

The guy that told me about Carroll signing told me Redknapp is being touted, as he will cost us nothing and is English, but I very much doubt that they would take him back and he stated it wasn't true last week.

SUGO have already sounded Moyes out last month and also Bilic, Moyes would be a safe transition as a like for like but better football than what Allardyce dishes up imo! Bilic would be entertaining football but a risk when we need to stay in the Premier league.
Moyes is on about 1.5 million in Spain but would be offered 3 million the blocking point is he is contracted for a further year but we can negotiate with his club, he also might get sacked or released if Real Sociedad keep slipping down the league.
Knowing SUGO it will be like for like and Moyes will come here eventually but it might not be until he ends his current contract, or gets sacked.
