Gutted like the rest of you. But on the bright side: without Carroll and Nolan West Ham grew into this game and with the pace of Valencia and Sakho more and more began to get in behind Spurs' defence. Kouyate is a gem. Two beautiful goals, such a shame they were answered by a lucky goal and a lucky penalty. Another draw. AAAAAAAAAGGHHHH!!!!

Putting Kane on a pedestal, he did very little for 95 mins and only scored at a second attempt from the spot. Great to see Nolan on the bench, but would have preferred him back in the changing rooms

We can play some decent football.
Had we kept playing decent football throughout the season rather than going back to Nolan and Carroll we would know how to close out these games even better.

The game was at 7.00 AM our time. So managed to catch the highlights, goals and controversial penalty. Then got to watch the Southampton v Liverpool game. Now here is the inconsistency among the referees. Southampton thought they should have been awarded a penalty after their player was brought down within the first minute of the game. The manner in which he went down was more realistic than Kane's dive. No penalty. Later the tackle on another Southampton forward and this time the foot of the defender was wrapped round the legs of the forward with no contact with the ball. Still no penalty. Finally the keeper is outside the box and handles the ball and should have been red carded. No the referee waves the game on. Adrian was dismissed more easily in the game against Southampton. I think teams that are fancied to finish higher in the table always get preferential treatment by the referees and this is disgraceful.

You've made better points there than we've got lately toronto bring on a instant replay ref asap so every ones treated fairly! and out the cheats!

Moore, totally agree with you. No doubt Song did make contact, but it was an exaggerated dive by Kane. Referees ought to have these video replay sessions and so get more consistent with their officiating. Southampton and West Ham were penalized this weekend. Apparently the 5 minutes of extra time could not really be justified. Moving forward, Kouyate is a stellar signing and can really take the game to the opposition. He can score some stunning goals. I think if BFS even dares to change this formation to bring Nolan in, I think that I am going to kick my TV in total frustration.

That's true. And also Sam tries to shut up shop too soon: trying to hang on to a lead with 5 mins to go is wise, but NOT with 25 mins to go.

Can't believe we've given them 4 points this season. Literally given them through the poxy substitutions. Where was Poyet and why not on the bench? I am so seriously over this manager. He does the right thing picking a great run on team (minus Nolan) and has his misfits (were to be moved on last day of the window) on the bloody bench, then on the pitch defending a 2-0 lead...what the...I'm properly over the manager and hopefully the chairmen are too. Writing must be on the wall surely. COYI
