West Ham have continued to be linked with a £30million summer move for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, though face a battle with Bournemouth for the midfielder following his season long loan on the south coast. £30 Million for an injury prone player approaching the last year of his contract? Someone is having a giraffe, and a conspicuously large one at that! Possibly a £10-12 Million purchase at the most, but even at that price do West Ham really need another midfielder, particularly one with a poor injury record? There are the likes of Martin Samuelson and Edimilson Fernandes available for next season, both young and both fit! It really doesn't make any sense in Hammers pursuing Wiltshere, far more important is surely to get another striker in to supplement Andy Carroll (if he doesn't get flogged off to the 'shiners super league') and Diafra Sakho, neither of which would let an injury insurance broker have an easy night's sleep. Also the need for a 'proper' right back is glaringly obvious, if not to push and instruct Sam Byram maybe just to replace him, although to be fair he is not the reason the defence has been so porous.
Hammers are rumoured to be lining up an astonishing triple deal with Chelsea for strikers Michy Batshuayi who has struggled to get a game for the Premier League leaders, rising star Tammy Abraham who has been banging goals in for fun at Bristol City and defender Kurt Zouma who wants to go out on loan to ensure his international place. Batshuayi has not been given a fair crack of the whip at Chelsea and has been ladened with a hefty price tag, whereas Abraham's is a breath of fresh air and would fit in perfectly at the London Stadiom especially given West Ham's contribution in turning Moses in to a must start player rather than a perpetual loanee for Chelsea. Zouma would be a fine addition as well as Hammers will be looking to firm up their leaky defence with some more athleticism, Reece Oxford could learn from him.
Cordial on going talks between West Ham and Chelsea about a plan 'b' ground share show that there is good will between the two clubs and a three player deal might be possible, but at what extra cost? The spectre of an offer coming in from Chelsea for Michail Antonio is never far of the horizon and would test the mettle of the Hammers hierarchy, we will have details of new deals being offered to several players in our next article. - Ed

big names none of which we will get...seriously heard the Wilshire rumour along with the ridiculous price tag and in same breath we get on the batshuayi with the words LOAN MOVE lol this is typical gold/Sullivan smoke and mirrors....they will never put the money in for players expect more freebies and stories of how we tried to get deals done but for one reason or another we couldn't quite get the deals done...and oh yes don't forget the FINANCIAL FAIR PLAY as west ham seem to be the only club spouting about that....we had a chance last summer after a wonderful season to attract some good players but we didn't and so we are in this mess right now.....so why now we have struggled and seem to lack leadership why would anyone see us as anything special...expect more Snodgrass type signings and players getting toward the end of there careers...that is our lot in football life.oh just thought maybe Sullivan can try and push through a deal for BACCA this summer as he was sooooooooo close to signing lol

Just the porn dwarfs up to their old tricks trying to sell season tickets. Jack Wilshere only makes the bench at Bournemouth suggests they are clearly a better club than their league position suggests...not! Hes a liability, we already have plenty of them. Oxford clearly is a problem, if he was such a super star we would be playing him now. Samuelson, another potential but.... Tammy Abraham, another typical West Ham buy, lots of potential but is he any better than say Sam Baldock also scoring in the lower league and already dismissed by us as not good enough for the Prem? And as for Michy Batshuayi, turned us down in the past so why would he join us now? Let him fester on the Chavski bench.
