Jonathan Calleri arrived at West Ham's London Stadium with a fanfare as a top south american striker, and indeed the stats proved that on paper he was the capable of firing goals in from all angles! Unfortunately since donning the claret & blue Calleri has had extreme difficulty in getting his angles correct, he did not help his own case with his ridiculous ill fated rabona attempt at Stoke's Bet 365 stadium. Had the ball gone in Calleri's season's contribution might have been clouded due to the massive importance of claiming three much needed points, however it didn't, and any talk of retaining his services has been met with incredulity by almost every west ham fan we have spoken with.
The thought of Calleri leading the line against what has to grudgingly be acknowledged as a top top team in the from of friday night's visitors Tottenham, fills most with dread and sends out a worrying sign to the opposition. Perrenial sick note Andy Carroll "might manage 20 minutes", Antonio is out for the rest of the season and the incredible 'Sulkho' will invariably throw his toys out of the pram just before the match, which leaves only Andre Ayew, who is not a recognised striker or Ashley Fletcher who must be wondering why he left the bench of Manchester United merely to sit on the bench at West Ham!
Friday night should be special under the lights at the London Stadium, the crowd will raise it's volume against such bitter london rivals, but if Calleri leads the line we are doomed!

Let's hope people with season
Let's hope people with season tickets who are able to attend, including the so called tourists, elect to turn up and help create an intimidating atmosphere rather than staying at home and watching on Sky

No Carroll
According to the C&H website, Carroll won't be in the squad tonight. I cannot see him playing again for us this season. We are toothless up front again. I am sure we will give it a go tonight but it won't be enough. Sod it!
