Looks like the same 433 he has been playing for the last few weeks, with Cresswell in for the injured Arthur. Let's hope the general can keep Kane under control and maybe we can get something today.

Corners have been disappointing so far but general has been good.

Geez I like the way pelligrini has the boys playing, bloody unlucky there too.

Solid performances from everyone with the possible exception of Anderson. But we need to play like that against teams in the bottom half instead of falling asleep like we did against Brighton. Dingana looks mustard.

Balbuena, Diop, Rice and the youngster that replaced Yarmo, Dianang. He really excited me with the way he kept at them. Great future.

We know that story all too well. What hurts is not this loss, but the loss to Brighton. Getting the players to understand that you have to beat the teams you are supposed to beat has been a problem at West Ham for years. Lost the equaliser to an offside call -- can't find video of it so I don't know if it was bad or not, but we've been on the wrong side of those calls so many times it wouldn't surprise me. The good news is that the other results don't hurt us. Another mediocre season looms, and the injury to Yarmo is a concern, but you can start to see possibility under El Pel. Our chairmen have to realise, however, that one injection of money won't be enough -- they have to do this every single season. I do believe that Hammers65 is right -- it will be a different story in the cup match. COYI.

Although we played well on the the whole today there still seems to be some thing missing ,two or three weak spots ,and they seem to differ every week ,like our last game Armelenko was well off form and Arthur was a disaster ,this week Anderson looked more like a division 2 player than a record buy ,a couple of positives are Rice ,never seems to have a bad game ,and our centre backs ,Diop and Balbuano who seem to be developing into a reliable partnership ,still don't know what the boss See's in Snoddy and Ant now appears to be a permanent impact sub ,when he came on we went very one dimensional and easy to read ,get the ball to Ant and he can put some quality balls in the box ,the hope is the boss might see the potential of Dianang and keep him in the team ,one more thing why doesn't he give Silver a chance ?idstart to think about resting Arnie when Carroll's fit ,I know it sounds ludicrous but he needs to tone up a degree or Two

He would be a great signing dicksy while he would present a few problems formation wise ,he's got tremendous power with his head as well as his feet . By of

But in the mean time i hope now that chickpea will get a run of games with arnie,i know he can be a frustrating player but they always seem to link up well together...got to be worth a punt now with Yarmo out for what looks like some considerable time.

Thought this was the worst game I've seen Phillipa Anderson play and we cheered when he came off, shame really he played so well against Everton. I think Manny is playing him to wide every time he tries to cut inside and loses the ball he needs to be more central, and please don't let him take any more corners, the 1st one I thought well it was miss hit and when the 2nd 1 came along I Thought well he's got his marker now he wont do that again, guess what? it was worse 3ft high and didn't even pass the 1st man. They let him take a 3rd as well this was the same as the 2nd. He never got the 4th though Snoddy took it and we got a chance on goal. Comes to something when we are cheering cos we have had to take a 40 million player off, think we might have got our fingers burnt here but who knows? he might play in the cup match against Spurs and play a blinder but not out as a wide player he is to light weight.
It was hoped that Silva would play against Macclesfield in the cup but he pulled a Hamstring and was supposed to out for 6 weeks but a strange thing Grady Diagana took his place and played an absolute blinder and scored 2 goals got man of the match, strange thing fate, but I'm sure this is not the last we've heard of Long John he scored a hat-trick against Spurs in the under 23's so perhaps we could have done with him yesterday. Never mind we will Peel the spuds in the Caribou Cup- Its Halloween so might give em a few nightmares COYI
