Looks like a more central role for Anderson, that should suit him better. Lots of pace on the flanks. I sense a win here.

Better then Bilic and Moyes approach of sitting back and letting city dominate and get trounced 4-0. Also had Cresswell started instead of Masukau that game would have been entirely different.

The team have played with heart and aggression so far. Unfortunately City are in a different class big Mick and Arnie have linked up well, Dingana is not overawed by the so-called stars in their team. I'm glad we gave it a go we could have sat back and also conceded three.

Should be about 7-3 to West Ham by now. The only difference is that they have taken their chances while we have squandered ours.

With all due respect i think the difference is a bit more than we squander our chances!!

Yes,when you can bring Mahrez on for sterling and jesus on for Aguero, don't make a dent in their side does it,we were told a move to a new stadium would allow us to compete with the worlds best, lol

but they are a class outfit. Some players need to go in January I am afraid. Masuaku is shocking in defence, Antonio run his arse of but no end product. Perez coming on was a waste of bloody time, he just never looked interested just here to pick up a cheque. We definately need a decent striker, a left back and probably a right back now that Fredericks is injured.

The third substitution bringing Perez on for Anderson was an awful decision. Perez was lazy, and did not bother to defend. He gave the ball away recklessly. If that substitution was not made at least Carroll could have come on for the injured Arnautovic and you never know as West Ham lacked an aerial player that could have converted from the numerous corners. Was disappointed that Carroll was not given that opportunity. If Cresswell started instead of Masuaku then it might have been just a single goal for Man City in the first half. I thought Arnautovic did not have much of a game today, but hopefully his injury is not serious as it looked like a sprained ankle.

Anyway, West Ham have to focus against Newcastle next weekend and try to take some positives as they had many more chances to score but the closest was Antonio wacking that post, with the keeper well beaten!!

But some strange decisions, the first one I get hauling Arthur off he was dog shit and the 2nd goal was down to him. But then Manny pulled off gravy tea and biscuits and puts on a little pea, a player that just don't want to be in the shirt any more and the sooner he frigs off to Besicas the better, don't want to see him in a WHU shirt again I know what the P stands, for now, piss poor. Then Pellegrini does another one and plays Perez for Anderson and he was piss poor as well, why he didn't play Carrol I don't know perhaps he is saving him but 15 mins run out would have done him good unless of course he gets injured, and then came the worst decision I have seen from Pellegrini since he's been here, a world-class manager with 82 minutes played he lets Arnie hobble around the field and he is pleading with him to take him off but he takes no notice and it was obvious that this was no dead leg Knock that could be run off, and at 3-0 we weren't coming back so this injury looks a serious hip injury and I' ll be surprised to see him back for the Newcastle match I certainly wouldn't be rushing back after that sort of treatment. But I must say we gave it our best and the first 2 goals were right against the run of play, and we kept on fighting, right up to the 80th minute and once Arnie got injured that was it, so perhaps Carrol can take Arnautavic's place for a few weeks.

Once again MOTD made the game look more one-sided than it was. BOTH managers pointed out that there were equal chances.

I'm afraid we're still suffering from the same old problem , we're carrying to much dead weight ,Chick pea ,Perez ,Oby ,Masa and I'm afraid Mick isn't half the player he was ,and besides the injury Arnie didn't look interested ,I felt sorry for Zabs he runs his heart out every time ,yes I'm beginning to doubt Pell .
The co commentator today on the. Stream I watched slated the shit out of Masa and Perez ,it puts the hairs on the back of my neck standing on end every time I see him coming on , he's nout but a journey man ,Chicpea the same

The writing was on the wall, mas at left back!!From day one everyone can see hes not a defender,he would probably admit it himself. So that mistake is down to the manager, someone who knows citeh inside out!!But regardless if we gave it a go or not,we lost 4 nil & they didnt really get out of first gear....The gulf in class is there to see, have we improved under pel after spending 100 mill??The next 8 games are against lower half sides so i suppose we will find out

From what i saw our chances apart from Ants unlucky shot against the post the rest were pretty much half chances!!Watch their goals again & it was like a training session for them, our defence was all over the place...

It's been confirmed from the horses mouth, pep loves our new ground, nice big pitch,no fear factor than tighter stadiums, like most of us feel that the atmosphere at the LS doesn’t lend itself to putting teams under pressure.

Its because the seats are in fact sold but people are choosy about which games to attend. That says to me either too many season ticket holders or the tickets are too cheap! Going to the LS is the same as Chessington 65... its one long roller coaster ride!!

Before i made my mind up to totally knock it on the head, there were quite a few times that i tried to get tickets to no avail...so you have many STH who only go to a few games & dont put their tickets on the ticket exchange...dont you think thats a kick in the teeth for proper fans who want to go randomly?the board dont give a toss as long as they sell the tickets granted, thats why ive made a joke about giving tickets away to all & sundry imo the system in place is a mockery....

The system doesn't work. I have two tickets in the Trevor Brooking, one for me and another for family and friends. I think the system needs to be looked at again as clearly good supporters that cant make every game are just shut out. The erxchange is b******ks, I have tried twice in three seasons and never got it to work. Its the same with the away tickets, its a joke, you need points but can only get points with past tickets... vicious circle! We look like having tickets for the Fulham game but only through Fulham contacts... crazy!
