A solid first fifteen minutes. City are missing Kompany at the back and could be vulnerable. Haller is settling in nicely.

ANYTHING when we play them????? I am getting sick and tired of watching us ship a hatful of goals against that bloody team every time we play them.

First 20 mins we were up for it,then as per caved in & the usual 5 nil loss should have been 6!talked about it last week they are light years ahead of us but at least you would think we would put up a fight but yet again no

Im not happy with that performance either ,1 or 2 little fliters in the first but a near state of virtual collapse in the second ,but a little voice in my head keeps saying " their the best team on the planet ,or dam near it ".

I also have a little voice in my head saying...'have we got the worst defence in the league....or damn near it?'

We were NEVER gonna win and was hopeful of a draw after the first half performance...Had a few too many alcoholic beverages so missed the second half, but wasn't too surprised they came alive and scored four more. We need to tighten up drastically between defence and midfield. who know what will happen in coming weeks. I'm fairly optimistic what with some of our forward movement...

Did Mike Dean get a premiership winners medal. The only thing he has given West Ham is yellow cards

Trying ajeti up top with haller next week?probably wont happen but 2 strikers instead of 1 is worth a go surely

Well, I didnt see that coming looked at the last results 4-0 4-1 5-0 4-0 thought no this is-different gravy, we got Haller, Fornals, Lanzinni, Anderson, even had a bet on the draw. Right from the start, I saw Fornals on the bench. But thought afterwards it could have been the right decision Antonio looked pretty lively in the first half, then for some reason, he subs him and brings on Fornals who in fairness was my man of the match. I think there are a lot of penalties going to retaken this season but they never showed fans first save on the screen or if it was in the area infringement by Rice the crowd never found out, they also never found out why Mike dean didnt give a foul against Haller the whole defence froze and Citeh went on and scored their 5th goal Which made the result look a bit flattering but there is no doubt we deffo had our pants pulled down. Our season starts again next week, Brighton got a good result this week so we want to stop the rot early, cant be good for our confidence being bottom of the prem for the 1st game of the season haven't forgotten the start we made at the
beginning of last season and unfortunately The seagulls are one our bogey sides

shocking stat that no player should be proud of, but, will any of them care? Actually yes, just one, Mark Noble, we are a much better side when he is playing, best at putting a foot in, tracking back and threading a pass.

Worry for me with the new boys are they any better than those who left? Arnie was a sulky git but a great player and Pedro's departure will prove to be a mistake IMO.

Big concern is again the speed at which we capitulate. First and second goals and ALL the heads were down.

Cant blame the stadium for a crap performance. The fans and atmosphere was brilliant yesterday. Took me 2 hours to get there and 2 hours to get home so in short I put in much more effort than the players and particularly Anderson!

If they put in half the effort of fans like you we would be world beaters!!from what I heard seemed the atmosphere was pretty good for first 20 mins then fell flat like the team, worrying stat if i was still a paying fan that so many still desert early, whatever you say about uppers even when we were tonked, very rarely did i see people leave early...you deserve a medal though dartford 4 hr journey for that crap!!;)

We are still lacking two decent fullbacks, neither Cresswell or Fredericks could cover effectively and were putting our defence under pressure every time they broke. Also we should of tested their keeper with some long range shots - no shots on goal for at least the first 30 mins of the game! We lacked belief going forward. Fab was unlucky having that penalty recalled, it's a bit unfair in my opinion - the spot kick taker has the advantage when he take a penalty and can do all these staggered runs, Rabona etc. So Rice encroachment seemed harsh but thems the rules. Their 5th goal should of had a foul called on the lead up for a blatant body check on one of our players. So yeah, 3 nil it should of been but even still there's no getting around city were a different class
