Having failed yet again to 'join the top table', many Hammers fans are finding it difficult to understand why their team constantly falls at the first hurdle. If West Ham had beaten Crystal Palace, the club would have been in the top three ahead of the International break, we at the Org reckon that if Manuel Pellegrini had managed to navigate the gap, fans might have become delusional with their expectations.
Hopefully those players on International duty will return injury free, and although he had a bit of a stinker against Palace, Manuel Lanzini has been 'spared' joining up with Lionel Scaloni's Argentine squad, so for once he won't come back injured! Seven senior players have been called-up by their respective countries and are set to feature in UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers and international friendly fixtures.
Declan Rice is in the England squad again, they are in the same group as bottom side Montenegro who feature midfielder Sead Haksabanovic, who has been doing really well on loan at Swedish side IFK Norrköping. Andriy Yarmolenko will feature for Ukraine who can confirm their own qualification if they can record two wins in October. The Ukrainians host Lithuania in Kharkiv before welcoming defending champions Portugal to Kiev.
Josh Cullen is in the Republic of Ireland squad for the trips to Georgia and Switzerland. Ireland are unbeaten after five matches, but hold just a two-point lead over second-place Denmark and three-point advantage on Switzerland in third. Robert Snodgrass will play against Russia in Moscow and San Marino in his home city of Glasgow. Fabian Balbuena is in the Paraguay squad for two friendly internationals in Europe. La Albirroja travel to Krusevac to face Serbia and Bratislava to tackle Slovakia. Arthur Masuaku has been called-up by DR Congo for two friendly matches, with the Leopards travelling to Blida to face Algeria before heading to Paris to take on Ivory Coast.
Following the International break Hammers start the next part of the Barclays Premier League campaign with a lunch time kick off up at Goodison Park against Everton, the Mersey side club have plenty of problems to contend with themselves at the moment with manager Marco Silva coming under increasing pressure. There then follows two home matches, kicking off at 3pm (how rare is that?) The first is against Newcastle, followed by a home tie against Burnley.
The next three games will show the real picture, put simply Hammers will sink or swim, the fixtures look decent enough to hope for a fair few points, it will all depend on which West Ham United turns up.- Ed

How many "blessings in disguise" should be tolerated? Let's face it, the number of times we've failed to make a jump into a higher position after getting into the right position is beyond irritating. Remember when Curbs was in charge, we were stuck in 10th place for over 5months! Problem with not taking the opportunity is you immediately start looking over your shoulder and rather than being 3 points clear of Burnley in 7th, we're 8th - just 3 points clear of Man U in 12th or Brighton in 14th. We'd also be 4 points clear of the Spuds. Instead they're one point behind with a better goal difference. It's these hurdles that the team have to approach in a more positive manner instead of resting on a good run and having to try and get another going.

in the past and i hope its not going to repeat its self this season but when ever a team has been on a losing streak or need to pick up some points they always look for the fixture with west ham to do it and we have always obliged ,these are the games we must make every effort to win and not just go through the motions
