First Allen Now Nzonzi, Zimmer Frame Utd!

Judging from recent transfer rumours, Hammers majority share holder and co-owner David Sullivan is well and truly 'back in place' since the departure of Mario Husillos as head of recruitment. There is nothing more David Sullivan than a loan deal for an ageing player, and hot on the heels of having Joe Allen watched with a view to signing him, 31 year old Steven Nzonzi has been added to the list!

Nzonzi last played in the Barclays Premier League in 2015 when he left Stoke City to join spanish outfit Sevilla, he also played for Blackburn Rovers during his time in the UK. Nzonzi has decided an early exit from Turkish loan side Galatasaray is on the cards and an agreement has already been reached between Roma, his parent club, and West Ham for the transfer.

The player has been out of favour with Galatasaray where he moved on loan to from Roma, he had never settled in Italy following his €26 Milllion move from Sevilla, and became surplus to requirements.

At 31 years old he hardly fits the David Moyes template of young and hungry, his signing would be just as catastrophic as the potential signing of Joe Allen! Most West Ham fans understand the reality of how difficult January signings can be, and the need for the club to cut it's cloth accordingly, but there's bargain basement buys and then there's the faulty goods returns department, it doesn't take a genius to know which camp the Hammers hierarchy occupy, does it? - Ed

Surely got to be better than Carlos and Wheelchair tho? Admittedly my Nan and her mate Enid at the bingo would be better but still..

Its total crap.....it immediately takes me back to the wonderful move from Upton Park, where we would have so much more extra revenue, and the opportunities ten fold, along with the ease to attract better players, but no,we are still in the bargain basement market, and the likes of Spuds still pipping us at the post for players, and not forgetting only out of the relegation zone by goal difference.......We are no further forward Sugo.
