3 Strikers Chicha, Perez And Hugill To Leave Huge Financial Loss

West Ham may have at least three striking vacancies up front if the news reaching us turns out to be as valid as we think, Lucas Perez is definitely leaving the club for the same £4 Million paid for him at the beginning of the season with Real Betis being his main suitor. Jordan Hugill is set to make his loan move to Middlesbrough a permanent one for around £6 Million and Javier Hernandez is subject to several offers, all of which are way short of the £17 Million that Hammers paid Bayern for his services.

Potentially Hammers will lose £14 Million in transfer fees should all three depart, however over £250,000 per week will be taken off the wage bill which is very important due to the wages versus income percentage ratio needed to comply with FFP regulations. The club was already hovering around the limits set, and players have to be shipped out before any further significant business can be done. Whilst culling three strikers may seem a little extreme, it should be remembered that none of those mentioned were actually signed by Manuel Pellegrini and he probably feels the sooner he can have players of his choice leading the line the better!

Just to further 'muddy the waters', Andrew Thomas Carroll is also being touted to whoever will listen, which leads to the question of which strikers would be used if so many depart? Arnautovic, Antonio and Xande Silva will be the only recognisable players available to play up front which would leave the club desperately short of cover. It seems the Maxi Gomez deal will happen, but not during this window, so what will Pellegrini and his staff do to fill the void?

Chelsea's Michy Batshuayi has long been coveted by the Hammers hierarchy and is available having been recalled from his loan spell, however the West London club are unhappy about a loan deal and are looking for a permanent transfer. It is believed that is not an option that Hammers would consider but things could change depending on who leaves the London Stadium. A loan deal with the obligation of making the switch permanent is the best that Chelsea are offering, perhaps it may happen.

The beauty and ugliness of 'transfer day' is that events can happen really quickly, there is invariably a Domino effect situation which is triggered by one player moving thus freeing up fees and wages for his club to use, and so on and so forth, Hammers have publicly stated that they have no desire to dip their toes in to the market at this time of year, but you can't believe everything you see and hear from the Board of a Barclays Premier League club can you? - Ed

Hugill and i have nothing against the Lad has to of been the strangest transfer deal since booger or Raducioiu... £10million crazy crazy however and whoever let that happen should not be let near the purse strings again Moyes made a massive error in judgement there...chicarito what can you say he is electric scores goals but seems a bit of a gypsy and roams from one club too the next very strange that he never seems to nail down a starting position at any club for a man with his talents quite incredible...Perez another player i will not slate he has not had many chances he has scored when given a chance but clearly not a leader and not what we needed as for carroll the one missing on your list Nev he just cannot cut it anymore he will not move in this window why would he? squeeze every last penny out of this contract then let him go do not foolishly take up the 2 year option we have because nobody will come in for him and we will be lumbered with that crock until his career finishes.

... unless you need an Aspirin :o)

Chicha, Perez And Hugill To Leave Huge Financial Loss... shocking list and who is accountable for such poor signings or managing of these under performing muppets?

As for Batshi* as my Chavski mates call him, record is not good for them or at Valencia and £35M is the price tag... forget it :o(

This player clearly has no interest in joining us he chose chelski bench over starting for us turned down loan offers and went abroad now just being reported that we and real Betis have agreed a loan deal and its up to the player which if either to go to..chelski want a permanent £35million solution and everton rumoured there.....but really why keep trying for someone who just does not fancy us as an option.

Another German club he's gone out on loan to.are the dildos trying to get him as much experience as possible from the german league (though hes only played 7 times this season) or they just dont know what to do with him? Strange conundrum

Apparently Batshuayi has agreed terms with Crystal Palace and will be there on a permanent deal. Why do the Hammers waste their time with him, as he has never shown any enthusiasm to join West Ham. Apparently there are no more signings in this transfer window. But Perez may have been let go, while Hernandez's services will be retained. So nothing exciting.
