When you next pay your BBC licence fee for the year, kindly consider, not the fact that one of the characters that you gladly paid your dues for was the hugely entertaining Jeremy Clarkson, now removed, but the fact that the BBC and the licence fee payer continually 'sponsor' the opinionated and deluded, 'senior' journalist, Dan Roan .
This is what happens when the truth is on offer!

Subject:

Olympic Stadium: West Ham, Andy Carroll and two £15m deals

Posting:

Dan Roan has a particular dislike of west ham, I should know because I was one of the journalists outside the court of arbitration that 'stole' £25 million off west ham to give to Dan's pals at sheffield united. Dan, I was there, and i heard exactly what you said. You may not remember because your head was so far up in the clouds ( up your ass!) due to the fact that you were mr sky big man at the time!

It may be anarchy, but a suspension of paying for your licence on the grounds that you want truly 'impartial' reporting and not that with a bias (supposedly enshrined in 'Auntie's' mission statement) might make them get their head's out of their own orifices! -Ed

I was reading the article earlier today & i couldnt believe the bias against westham. At the end of the day,if we or any other football club hadnt have taken over the o.s,what would have happened to it.Even at the supposed 2 million pound rent a year,99 years do the maths! On top of that the revenue, etc that will be brought into the area of stratford & the local community will be astronomical...Its a no brainer, bit like the aforementioned Mr Roan....

Read the article in question and deemed it a typical piece of sensationalism from someone who perhaps should know better. But what got my goat was the drivel heaped on the comment page by mindless West Ham haters. One guy said we were a small club! may I direct him to Forbes list of top clubs (financially) in the world, West Ham are nineteenth so sod you pal. One twit says that the Stadium will be a disaster like the Millenium Dome (O2 Arena) well my erudite friend may I tell you that this "failure" is now one of the worlds top venues and is a centre for all sorts of recreation. I'm fed up with the jealous comments of these morons who wish that they too could be like us, well my moronic chums, up yours.

Good to be back on the Org at last! I only just noticed the site is back up and running. Happy days. I've put a comment under Dan Roan's BBC article. There are a few comments from West Ham fans of a similar type. The more of us that go on and "like" these comments by hitting the thumbs up, the more the chance that maybe the BBC will take note.

Welcome back Brooking! :-)

I've written to the BBC many a time in the past, they seldom do anything other than send an auto-reply. Voice of the people??? Nah.

Jealousy comes in all forms it would seem. Dan's probably still upset that his tiny little club pissed away 25mill they shouldn't have got and are now languishing somewhere where I can't even be bothered to look!
Must say the more I read the article the more I was fist pumping the business savvy of SUGO and KB. Geniuses to get us this fantastic stadium and only cough up a small amount of WH finances.
If people want to bitch maybe take their ire to the Government and Governments past which have historically screwed the taxpayers whilst ensuring their own pockets are lined.
Roll on 2016/2017 season when we should buy the biggest helium balloon ever and raise it from the stadium. ( The balloon? Just a middle finger).

Roan joins my 'sh1t list' of biased or just plain thick journos. To be honest I couldn't even be arsed to read to the end of his BS, I've heard it all before. What these, mostly horribly jealous, hacks never come up with, is a better way of preventing the OS, like so many others in the past, becoming a white elephant. They can go to Hell, muttering all the way.
As a matter of interest, Nev, what exactly did he say outside the court of arbitration?

(a) that he hoped west ham would have points deducted in addition to the fine
(b)prattling on about how 'sir sean bean' was a real gent
(c) that Sheffield Utd were honourable, as was their then chair, Mc Crybaby
(d) it wasn't particularly just what he said that was annoying, it was the way he swanned around like king shit with his stupid Sky entourage!
Odious, self opinionated and arrogant!
