Someone said it on here the other day - we need to get a decent left back. Cresswell should start the next game. Masu doesn't have the defensive or positional nous to play the role

But for some reason Pel insists on playing him..we are so open on the left I do not no why teams who play us don't suss it..

Folks, it was just one of those nights. Had that Arnie attempt in the first half gone in we would have won by three goals, instead they scored and parked the bus!

Should've slaughtered them ,bunch of tie waisters and hooters, talking about time waisting shouldn't it be a Yellow card if you go down in the box holding your head and when the trainers come on they treat your ankle

Very disappointed with some of the comments on here. I'm not disagreeing with them just believe the lack of patience is astounding! Rome wasn't built in a day and yet some of us want it to be. The one thing that has stood out on this forum has always been that it ISNT like most of the others.

We all new that we could easily lose last night and so it turned out to be but when you see how the team can perform that's when it becomes frustrating and fans vent there spleen...just for once you hope lets go on a nice winning run or undefeated run for 5/6/7 games but one reason or another we get let down time and time again and that has to be a mental attitude...of course we all no they wont play like this after the international break as its the spuds and noble who as good as he was last week was way below standard last night will be drilling it into there heads this one you have to perform you have to give 100000% or the fans will dig you out big time....

Yes i get Brighton are hard to beat at their place, they parked the bus, time wasted,etc...But these are the teams that we SHOULD be getting a result against...not the end of the world by any means but typical westham we get a bit of a momentum going then reality kicks in once again!!;)

Rome wasn't built in a day means we are STILL a team in transitition regardless of a couple of good results. We have almost a new team to settle in. If people think this has now changed because of a couple o results then think again! A lot of the new players have a lot still to experience in this league and that means we are likely to see our normal inconsistentcy. As for slagging players of that have hardly had a chance or ones that are generally not good enough, did we really expect us to sign 25 new players and get them all to gel within the first week of the season?

Well we will have to agree to disagree. I think you are over simplifying things. There are far too many scenarios in a games to make things that simple.

Untill he gets rid of Snodgrass I'm afraid he's lost my vote of confidence ,he consistently put him on the bench as an inpact sub and every time I see him coming on I freeze ,he's lower division material and nothing will change that ,he can share the taxi with Mick and Perez

Last night we needed Andy Carroll. There was no plan B. We were sloppy all over the pitch, strolling around in the first half, controlling the second half but wasting chances.I cant believe either Arnies miss or Balbuenas header. That was three points just thrown away.

I am not going to get too upset about the loss to Brighton. Yeah, it hurts --that's 3 times straight now--but we played well enough in the second half to win. First half was same old problem: beat Manure and think they can walk it against Brighton. Would love to see just one season where EVERY game was played to win, from the first whistle. But I'll be patient for now. Maybe next time?
