Zaza is fast becoming one of the worst players to put on the shirt...he offers feck all!!
Promising start from us then revert back to respecting the opposition too much...another frustrating game!

Started game well then just fell to pieces and got worse as game went on. Point as an example feghoulu didn't seem to realise he shouldn't be passing to the players wearing the blue shirts

Beaten by the better side in the second half, we lost most of the second balls, first goal was always going to be important - FK we need a proper centre forward....

Ross Barkley was awarded the man of the match, but it should of gone to Lukaku. He was the difference today - his tireless running off the ball, hassling our defence and contributing to attacking play (including his off-side that led to the 2nd goal) and being in the right place to finish things first time. We need to get rid of Zaza asap - he is fast becoming another Antonio at RB - with the exception that I'm not even sure there's another role he could even play in the squad.

West Ham ran out of energy in the second half. Clearly, two games in one week for the same starting lineup is not the best option. Payet looked fatigued and kept on losing the ball. His set pieces were a disaster. Cresswell did not offer much going forward, that was very surprising. Lukaku made the stark difference between the two sides. I think that taking off Obiang seemed to have disorganised the midfield. He seemed to keep that fluidity going. Hopefully, West Ham will pick up their game as there are some very tricky fixtures in the offing. Bilic has to bring on the younger talented players as substitutes and at the 60th minute. Feghouli was poor, and Ayew did not offer any cutting edge skills to turn that game round.

What is the latest on Sakho? He has not been seen even as a spectator. Sell him in January window for an established striker, if he has no interest in getting "fit" or wanting to be in the side.

What about our upcoming Cup fixture v Manure? We are gonna be playing them twice in the space of 4 days and both times at their ground... Doesn't bode well for our Cup run.

Just got back from Goodison after getting stuck in traffic on the M6 southbound that just puts the icing on the cake.

The first half I thought was about even on both teams, and you just knew Lukaku would put one in the net..as others have posted Payet looked fatigued TBH most of the team did after Wednesdays game...At the end of the day I thought a point would have been the right result but were talking Everton ( away ).. Little did I know what was lying ahead for me on the M6 S/B......With some big games coming up Stoke is a MUST win game next weekend.....

a 50 50 game and we lost it, but I do agree that looked tired and 2nd half they were getting the run of the ball.

But they had other chances. Adrian made some great saves. West Ham looked fluid for the first 20 minutes or so. Up to that point easy on the eye and fair defending. But Everton dominated the second half imho. Pity, we have now fallen back to 17th, but we are still only 4 points off the top nine. Tough fixtures ahead, but I think we will do better. Nice shot from Nobes, but Joel had it covered all the way -- need the same arc and twice the pace. A frustrating but not totally unenjoyable game.
