F sake... Masuaku fouled with a scissor kick and now limping on the pitch. How many injuries have we suffered v Everton over the years I wonder

Masuaku injured which is a shame as it was a bright start by the boys. Fernandez on, would have bought Colin's on and moved Cresswell up to give the Ginger Pelle one last game, that's just me though as I think he has been a great servant for the club.

A bit lucky but Fuxx it we deserve it. Been the only team going for a win. Sam looks like he has asks his team to take out a few players, that was a petty shot by Pickford.

let's just hope Moyes makes them keep going for it and Everton don't keep up their tactic of trying to injure our players.

He is a must keep, whoever the manager is next season build a team around Lanzini and Arnautovic. Credit to Mario, Zabaletta and Rice and also Adrian also.

Great to see Collins get a run for a few minutes, if it wasn't for his age than he would definately have a contract.

Great way to finish a terrible season and finishing 13th doesn't tell the whole story! Must meep Arnie and Lanzini - think we should even buy Mario if its not crazy money

West Bromwich, Stoke and Swansea gone down, better them than us not that I will miss Stoke. Now for the shit carrying on for the next couple of months linking with every player under the sun and at least six or more managers, I just hope and prey the twats running our club have had a good scare over the last few months to realise that we need to invest in new players to back up our best players. More of that tomorrow, have to go to work in four hours so goodnight folks.

Players that automatically make the team: Arnautovic,Lanzini,Mario,Masuaku,Antonio
Quality squad players :Rice,Hernandez,Carroll,Fernandez,Obiang,Snodgrass,Noble,Kouyate,Oxford,Byram,Zabaletta,Cresswell,Ogbonna,Reid,Collins
Players that will be released: Evra,Hugill,Hart
On the verge of a Ist team appearance: Quina,Haksabanovic,Holland
Looking at the squad as a whole 5 players definitely worth keeping ,it's the squad players that need to be improved.Collins,Zabaletta probably only have another season left in the premiership.Very light on quality players, need some big investment in the summer to build this squad.I think 6 new first team faces to be brought in to really push the team on to that next level. That certainly includes a new No.1 goalie, keep Adrian as backup.A new backline, although Rice looks promising as does Oxford,a quality holding midfielder, someone like Carvalho, two new midfielders to replace Noble and Kouyate in the first team.Like the look of the three up front that Moyes has put together, but I'm sure that can alternate with two out and out strikers up front with one in the hole.Love to see a quality, pacey, striker to partner Arnautovic, with Lanzini and Mario behind.Unfortunately can't set the team up like that yet ,cause the defence and midfield are not good enough, they need that extra man

He has made two costly mistakes this season but take nothing away from him he looks very promising.Ferdinand was quite error prone in his younger days ,look how he turned out,I think Rice will follow in his footsteps.

but we made our own fortune by taking 7 of 9 points from our last three matches. Swansea lost their last 5 straight and went over the edge. Had we lost our last three matches, we'd have been safe, but only just, and that could easily have happened. I don't want to take away anything from the lads or Moyes -- they got the business done, against three teams well above them in the table. And looking up, if we had better against some of the teams above us (Newcastle in particular), we could have been 9th. The margins are very very tight, so even more reason for the Board to invest. Team first, then manager, then stadium, in that order imho, but with the greatest resolve. Heck, I wouldn't even be unhappy with new owners.

A good sign of team resilience today was the start of the second half when Sam said fuck this for a game of soldiers im goin back to my normal formation, for 15 minutes of that half i thought to myself ,ello we're on another capitulation here but as soon as we rode out that storm and got back at em again you could tell the class difference between us ,pity we couldn't have played with that much coincidence all season

Very interesting finale in many respects, not just because of the two managers and their potential fates. Both teams were in the relegation places when the current managers took over. Everton finished 8th, we finished 13th. Moyes of course took over West Ham later than Sam took over Everton, but was there that much difference?

That was obviously for 65 :o)

I thought this was one of our best performances at the LS, the quality of football at times was brilliant. One silly error from Oggy but I think he has one of those in the locker most weeks and this week we got away with it. Lanz and Arnie were at times unplayable, just hope we can hang onto them both. Even Mario looked very sharp. Nobs again every where and even Chek put a foot in. Zab and Cress class and Adrian... my God what has he been drinking! Save the best til last. I think Rice is just getting better and better, this kid is learning all the time, defensively was brilliant and now just needs to work on his distribution but what a talent for the future! All round performance top draw and I dont hold with the comments "lack lustre Everton"... amazing that any time West Ham win its because the opposition were poor! Finally, the best atmosphere so far at the LS and why... because the guys in claret n blue on the pitch played good football and gave the crowd something to shout about!!!

Yep, they were chucking it around with gay abandonment, had a nice lunch in Westfield with ol pal and his Mrs, defo Plastics as he is originally from Essex, public school boy, 59, supported them all his life, 15 year season ticket holder and lives in a nice gaff in Surrey... defo plastic... like me.. COYPI's!!!!! :o) Jokes aside, I did think of you again after the match, surrounded by a little crew from Rotterdam dressed in head to toe Claret n Blue :o)

I don't think you can read too much about either teams performance. It's a nothing game. Ok we may have played ok. But the reality of where we are is still far from this game. Why couldn't we play like that before? Numerous reasons. Maybe the players can't perform under the stress? Maybe the Everton players were already on the beach or thinking about the World Cup? In short to compare this game with others is apples and oranges.

I agree that one swallow doesnt make a summer but I was really impressed and the Motd highlights didnt do us justice, hell they didnt even show Arnies off side goal in the second half! I still think you compare apples with apples, both teams had nothing to lose but West Ham looked far superior.

I'm comparing situations really Dartford not teams. Only about 2 players for us stepped up to the plate when the pressure was on us. The others let us down and couldn't be trusted. I certainly won't be able to trust most of them next season.
