why still starting Fernandes? I haven't seen anything from him to write home about. Why no Lanzini start? Hernandez start?

Good attacking bench, Arsenal obviously have one eye on the Europa s-f, hopefully the lads can take advantage of that.

We've had a couple of half chances. Mario looks better when he is not up against a big physical side.

at around 15 minutes we had some good chances, then mostly hands to the pumps. Arsenal could be 1-0 up right now, so it's all to play for. Late subs Carroll, Hernandez, Lanzini could make a difference if it's still 0-0.

If Hernandez had been playing would have been 1 up that rebound off the keeper from elbows would have been meat& drink to him

Yes, I've seen enough of Fernandes, get him off. This game is there for the win. How about Rice at the back? I see he is now calling the shots. Possible future captain?

Why not at half time, or to start? Agree with Burkie that Fernandes has offered very little.

Next up are the Champions. Our goal difference is -21 and headed South. We knew this was coming, but it's still hard to take. Can we get points from either Leicester or Everton? Last game of the season looming.

http://www.worldfootball.net/table_calculator/eng-premier-league/

I gave us zero points for the rest of the season and we still stay up, by three points, IF results go as expected. But results don't always go as expected. The team to watch is Southampton.

up

I also did the calculator also gave us zero point. I have us staying up only on goal difference from Huddersfield. Sleepless nights ahead

We played so well for eighty minutes then it all fell apart. Let's take some positives from this, I think Hernandez and Lanzini need to start next game and we can pick up another couple of points

Anything can happen. Shame we let this one get away, however. Was starting to think a draw was on the cards. What are we missing in defence? Only Stoke have yielded more goals this season.

CAPITULATION!!! Deserve to go down.

up
6 users have voted.

There are teams below us that are more dreadful. Why do we deserve to go down? Prefer to see Championship matches next season?

up
5 users have voted.

Two stupid mistakes is what killed it. Masuaku watching the first goal go in, and then Rice ducking under the ball at the critical time. Otherwise, it could have been a different outcome. The midfield was non existent in the last ten or so minutes. Should have taken off Noble instead of Masuaku. Noble was non existent in the second half instead of being an inspiration to the team. Needed someone like Masuaku to feed Carroll at the very end. It will be attack v defend in the next game against Mabu Dhabi Citeh. But a sneak win against either Leicester or Everton and a point or two against the Man teams maybe enough to see us through a very dreadful season.

These duds we keep signing will be the death of us what was Moyes thinking of playing Mario and Fernandez not risking our big guns in that heat
Also Nobby was a passenger for the second .the heat did for him https://goo.gl/images/9omFLW

Burkie 1

Then silly mistakes & we capitulate as usual.Marko must be getting pissed off up top on his own,he always puts in a shift scored a cracker of a goal, but where is the assistance from mid-field??Fernandes & mario are too lightweight,Nobes had a bloody mare today (& i never usually slag him off!!) kouyate is not much kop either!!We need a whole lot of changes next season, but with the dildos in charge dont hold your breath!!
