Commentators doing my head in harping on about lack of creativity in final 3rd... we would have creativity if all our key players hadnt been injured by cynical fouls! Jut like the one on Kpuyate in this very same match...

Not bad 1st half, ball was in their end most of the time nwr the end... missed some good chances that no doubt Lanzini, Sakho or Payet would have netted home, particularly Nobes gift from Shawcross. If we win today its gonna be ugly!

No - tactical substitution, Enner came on to help nick the goal - and nearly did too! Song pkayed okay, he made a few good defence splitting passes

Predictably tight, need to get beyond their fullbacks like Cresswell did in that last minute of the first half.
Carroll needs something to feed off, because we are missing the killer pass that Payet and Lanzini are capable of.
We need to try and play down the flanks in short.
Btw stating the obvious, Shawcross is one ugly 'footballer'....COYI!

Is playing well today .. But its a Tight Game that will go to the wire .. Think I would be happy with a Draw at this stage !

No lack of effort to be fair, could've nicked it but considering the players we are missing we can be satisfied with that.
When I think of the creativity we are missing, I genuinely believe we are as good as anyone in this league.
Fair play to Antonio, a diamond in the rough that fella!

We had good chances, but did not have the right determination to finalize. They could have been three points. I see this as a lost opportunity. Great rescuing from Adrian in the last minute

enjoyed it, could have gone either way, shows we have plenty in the locker. Zarate was good today, Antonio also worked hard

Just like westbrom & manure, imo another draw that really should have been a win!!Yes they had a couple of good chances but we had loads, cant fault the effort of the players, just missing the creativity of the likes of payet & lanzini...ginge was immense, antonio worked his socks off...one disappointment for me was i cant believe how quite the westham crowd were 1st half, very strange atmosphere at the boleyn when all you can hear is a load of carrot crunching stoke fans!!;)

The Christmas season will be tough on West Ham, given the injury situation. The Stoke match -- well, I can't really complain. Could just as easily have been 1-1. We are not going to see free-scoring WHUFC for a while: 0-0, 1-0, 1-1, 0-1 is what we will see. I just hope Slaven is able to keep the spirits up and the score tight over the next month or two. After that we will have a strong incentive to win, home or away.

But I have great faith in Slaven .. Whilst a draw scenario may be Boring .. Not Losing always helps confidence generally in any Sport .. With all the current Injuries etc I would have took a Draw before the Game started .. Stoke are not a Bad side these days !

2 good posts ash and steve on how Slav is doing with all the injurys , it is very much steady as she goes , sure ,it might cost us a few places and our euro ambitions might have flown the nest (sorry dicksy ) but i couldn't have more confidence in Slav

Do not worry. Bilic knows prepare and motivate the team even in this emergency situation injuries

Considering how the top teams have fared this weekend, I will take the point with practically the reserve squad. Loved how Newcastle came from behind to beat Spuds, Man U losing to Bournemouth with ex Hammers man Stanislas (remember him) having a stellar performance. But having watched Stoke destroy Man City last week, and deservedly so, I was really worried about this match. Our defence was far more solid than Man City and I love how Bilic has really motivated players like Noble and particularly Zarate. Zarate has added that bit of skill that the current midfield lacks and was unlucky not to score. When Valencia is fully fit I expect him and Zarate to lead the attack in the place of Carroll or Jelavic. Yes, with the support of Kouyate and Antonio, we could finally start knocking in a few goals. Antonio should work on those throw ins during the training, as they are practically like the corner kicks and if he picks out Carroll or centrebacks like Collins or Tompkins, then that could mean result in a goal. Why did he take only one throw in? The Swansea game should get us a win away from home as they are still trying to find their way. Bilic should stick to the back four, as although Tompkins, Kouyate, Zarate and Noble were guilty of giving away the ball in some dangerous situations, the defence held out in the end, thanks also to Adrian's agility. Good to see Collins and Ogbonna having outstanding performances in Reid's absence.
