(1) Opposition taken for granted. Burkie said it. Absolutely right. Should NEVER happen. Down to Manager and Coaches.
(2) Tactics poor. For much of the first half, while Brighton soaked up pressure, we played the same football as if we had Andy Carroll in centre forward. High crosses into the box -- how is Chick Pea going to score from them. I could go on all day about the tactics (e.g. Hammer65 had a great suggestion about Masuaku), but that's the Manager's fault.
(3) Terrible signings. Arnautovic not woth half of what is paid for him. Stoke fans were bitter, because they know he has potential, but they also laughed up their sleeves because they know he's got no graft and won't track back. Ayew not worth being on the bench. That's over £50M right there. Now maybe they're not so bad as we think, but if not, then it's the manager not getting value out of them. And to be blunt, what player HAS he gotten value out of?

CONCLUSION: Bilic has to go. NOW. FFS we are 17th.

To answer your question. Who in time will be recognised as a West Ham great. Last night we had two great free kick opportunities and not one person in the LS thought Lanzini would even get close where as that guy was always going to score or make the keeper work. Agree with the rest of your post.
