West Ham Utd : Randolph, Antonio, Ogbonna, Tomkins, Cresswell, Noble, Kouyate, Lanzini, Payet, Valencia, Carroll.
Subs: Adrian, Obiang, Collins, Moses, Emenike, Hendrie, Oxford.
Manchester Utd : De Gea, Fosu-Mensah, Smalling, Blind, Rojo, Carrick, Fellaini, Lingard, Herrera, Martial, Rashford.
Subs: Romero, Valencia, Young, Schneiderlin, Mata, Memphis, Rooney.
No Reid!
Promo: The bookies see the match fairly evenly, as confirmed in the Euro 2016 News that is available.
There appears to be a huge amount of interest in this fixture, not just domestically, but throughout Europe and beyond, perhaps it is because of the amount of Manchester United players who will effectively be in the shop window, a situation that seems credible given the lack of harmony that is apparent due to LVG's 'strange' guidance. According to the Dutch website Online Wedden who have a keen interest in the Dutch man's ability to hold on to his job, this match is the make or break for the beleaguered manager with the prospects of his continued tenure being very frail.

Tight game tonight especially first half then second half we should take the game to Man U. Kind of expecting it to be 1-1 and extra time maybe but with us winning it 2-1. We will see!

A D Bonds

Should be closing down that ball quicker, backing off them and a load of space in the midfield for their midfielders to pick off passes.
That's a stupid cheap yellow card for Carroll in injury time....Bloody screaming at him for that.

De Gea won the game for them... Gutted in the end, we played 20 mins of good football like we have been doing the whole season. As said Antonio needs to play further up the pitch

Overall they bossed it I thought, we looked like we were lacking energy over the 90.
We didn't get the rub of the green in the first match where we should have got the result.

Yeah agree we played into their hands giving the Ball away so much .. I think our lads forgot Carroll was on the Pitch for around the first hour of the game .. Great last 15 minute or so rally at the end but sorry to say we got what we deserved .. Sadly we were just not revved up enough the majority of the game !

One of those things Steve and of course you're right in everything you say there.
Beaten by the better side on the night and we've got to take it on the chin.

Brainless play and brainless management today. We let a very ordinary Man U team look good. Poor defensively bilic does nothing about it at half time created very little and only Tonka, Randolph and ogbonna played reasonably well. They Sussed Antonio in the first half and less so cresswell. But bilic sat on his hands and did nothing! As has been said, Antonio should have been pushed forward for Valencia Tonka in at rb and either kouyate or Collins at centre half or possibly obiang on. We needed crosses in for Carroll but he took of a player who can cross but wouldn't and brought a player on that can't cross! Bilic got it as wrong as the players. To lose is one thing but we didn't look well organised anywhere. The best we can say about this is we tried! I'm so angry! Especially at bilic he saw what was going on and didn't feel the need to shore us a bad defence strategy when he had the chance. Brainless

Think I will be dead before we win the cup again, I am like all of you totally gutted! We did not seem to have any fluidity about our play, hardly heard Cresswell mentioned and was no one watching their game at WHL? We are better than this I did wonder if the Sakho rumours have upset the squad? But truth be known this tie should never have gone to a replay we were undone by inept officials at OT which makes tonight even more of a sickener! But I am West Ham through and through but at my age should have realised not to get my hopes up. Love you guys and let's hope we can kick on from here.

performance for the first two thirds of the game.
I cant believe how lethargic they were, considering the context of the game.
Allowed them to completely boss the game.
Won't have a better chance of winning the Cup.
Another home game without a win.
Very, very disappointed.

The team was wrong from the start and bilics first sub was too. I saw that team and didn't fancy our chances at all. Antonio has probably played right back or wing back more than midfield. Idiot management. Bilic has had a brain fart IMO. Defensively the weak area was the same place but unlike Saturday he didn't learn by it. I'm so furious too many basic things went unaddressed.

After the string of bad decisions that have seen us out of the top 4 race, reaching the Cup final would have been great consolation... disappointed from that angle. Trying to be positive, its still been a great season and this year we have been a better team than chelsea, poo and united

Thought Fellaini was marginally offside when he got the cross before their second goal; play could have stopped there. Then Kouyate had it in the back of the net and perhaps if that had been Manchester United he wouldn't have been given offside. Yeah, it was the correct call, but we're talking about things evening out. For those who thought Payet and Lanzini had bad games, I beg to differ. Both of them were fouled in the box. Payet was clearly and cynically blocked off the ball by Smalling -- I'm REALLY pissed off about that one - and Lanzini bravely stayed on his feet when if he had gone down it was a clear penalty (probably wouldn't have been called anyway). Payet always had three men around him, and they made sure to foul him almost every time, but just far enough away. Yes, Payet's delivery from free kicks and corners left something to be desired today, but expectations are very, very high for him. Thought Moses injected some pace when he came on, and Tomkins' brave header was admirable. Would Reid have stopped Rashford? I don't know. It's true that the team didn't play to its own strengths until late, and Valencia's shots when put through were STRANGELY weak and direct -- I really can't understand why he didn't do better. VERY STRANGE. But back to the decisions: two penalties not given, a Manchester player not sent off for second yellow, and a goal chalked off for us, nothing for them: 4-0 to the referees; that's about par for the course, nothing to get excited about any more. If it had been any other team they'd have been screaming about how hard done by they was, but with us, its so expected now that we are whingers if we complain about bad calls. GUTTED, fellas, but that's life. We move on.

Sorry ashes I can't agree with most of what you said altho I do think it should have been a red for them. Don't think we should always play the victims

Its important now to dust ourselves down and get over this shock ,an important match on sunday and a result there could see a even bigger prize emerging

Not been on here for a while but somethings just never change. We are only happy, sorry make that vocal, when we are losing. Just a bit too much hype in the build up for me last night... last FA cup game at UP, Invincible at home, Gold at half time looking smug and arrogant etc etc. We are not the finished article..Yet! We played a good team last night, yes they slipped up against Spudz but in the main they are starting to click with a squad of highly talented individuals comprised of imports costing gazzillians and probably some of the best English youngsters to break into the Premier League for years, an area West Ham (Academy) was once renowned, on that basis I think we need to take stock. it was just one of those nights. We are not the finished article yet, we still have weak spots and Slav is not perfect, I think the formation again was wrong, Tonks exposed along with Antonia, Nobs, a West Ham legend but if we are truthful just not good enough. Personally I've supported West Ham all my life, through thin and thin. We made the quarter finals nearly beating Manc U in the first game and saw off Poo, we sit in the top half of the Prem, move to the OS with all season tickets sold, play wonderful footie, got a fab player in Payet... frankly, I am very happy. The dark days of Alardyce football are behind us... the futures bright...Its Claret and Blue! Keep the faith, our day WILL COME! P.S. Imagine being a Villa fan ;o)

A post riddled with common sense that - I personally had bad feelings about last night (I thought lady luck was against us in the first match at OT and we'd lost our chance).

Having slept on it .. Antonio playing at full back was/is absolutely wasted we needed him desperately up front more last night to unsettle them .. As previously mentioned if Carroll does not get enough Crosses into the Box of which it only really started to happen in the last 15 minutes or so .. We end up carrying him and it also then throws our general balance and play out !

We haven't had a recognised right back since Byram got injured/cup tied Steve - We are short of cover (imo Tomkins doesn't really fit either).....I would've thought we would be bringing in someone else in the summer (as good a servant JOB has been, I think he'll be moved on).

Why is it whenever theres a poor performance it somehow means Noble isnt good enough. Kouyate is one of the worst central midfielders ive seen. Hes an engine yes. But hes constantly out of postion, just recklessly runs out of position, cant shoot cant pass left Noble exposed last night and on his own all game, and has been the same all season. Imo we win that game last night if Obiang plays and not Kouyate.

the game, I think a lot of the comments on here are a little harsh, bottom line they are a good side and they were fortunate to hang on to the 2 nil leed they had and in some respects fortunate to have had. First goal, great finish, sloppy by Antonio but that happens to the best of players, Second goal very messy and come off his knee. Personally I have no complaints about the performance, I would question Valencia as first choice, but ha ho it could have worked. Great season lets enjoy it. COYI
