Spuds have scored two lucky goals in the first quarter. Wonder where Kane horseshoe is stuck?

Good that Leicester have got one back and unfortunate to miss a few sitters.

Only our manager can watch aston villa play 442 and beat sunderland 4-0 and decide we should play 451 with jarvis and nolan at upton park against the same team.

We're playing 4-5-1, whilst Sunderland are playing three strikers: Wickham, Defoe and Fletcher

And again a deflected own goal. Spuds were the poorer team and still manage to score 4 pathetic goals. Need to get some pizza in time for the Hammers game, but again another well deserved goal by Nugent and game on.

Nolan and Jarvis starting??? Poyet & Amalfitano on the bench when they should be on the pitch and we will be playing 4-5-1 no doubt! Give me strength!!!!!

Lol .. Sam's nearly ÂŁ10 Million Superman and Crosser of a Ball .. When we paid that alleged Silly Amount of Money for "imo" Total Flop Allardyce said at the time Jarvis was one of the Best Crossers of a ball in the League !

Don't know why we even botherd to get Amal and Nene. What's the odds they get 30 mins or less between them?

West Ham really struggled today against a poor Sunderland team. No penalties awarded although OShea's header played Nolan onside. Still 3 hard won points was deserved on the balance of play. Really Nene should be given more playing time as he won that ball to assist in Sakho's goal. Nolan in my opinion should be benched in the next game. He cannot carry the ball forward and has to release it time and time again. Just hoping that Reid will return to free Kouyate into a midfield position. 3 points is such a relief and BFS should thank Sakho and Nene for it.

Difficult match. Thought West Ham should have been awarded about 5 penalties and about 15 fouls but Lee Mason didn't see it that way. Thank goodness for Sakho -- he gets into the right places and showed great skill and composure in scoring that goal. Love the "hammers" sign, Diafra. Pretty scary at the back a few times, but Collins was immense. Thought West Ham played reasonably well, but lack the killer instinct. Hope this is a good sign for the run in. COYI!

What a joke of a referee!Sunderland imo are down, down deeper than status quo down!Defoe has lost it,the chances he had,he would have buried them 2 years ago.It wasnt a great spectacle as a game, but lets be honest if we had got at least 1 or 2 of the decisions we should have we would have been out of sight. The likes of song, downing, etc are still not firing on all cylinders but with this win i feel that the confidence will come back!Special mention to diafra sakho, love the man-scores when he wants, crossed hammers every time-total legend as far as im concerned...coyi

How on earth were lucky Spurs given that penalty, yet we had two blatant ones not given ?? Kane is the luckiest hat-trick scorer of all time.

Leicester totally dominated the Spuds. But Spuds did score all scrappy deflected goals to and their result was a flattering one. No doubt Advocaat did improve the Sunderland side but they were second best today. The Sunderland fans are upset as they thought that their defender was fouled prior to scoring that all important goal. Nothing said about that penalty that should have been awarded to West Ham. Justice was served.

That just shows how bad Mason was. But there were so many not called the other way, including wo blatant penalties and imo a couple moe that might have been given. And remeber that time the lino called a corner and was overruled? Never got to see that one again--must have been a blatant error.

I did watch the game online this time and found it just as frustrating to watch as most of you! 4-5-1 at home is typical of Allardyce and the long ball to Sakho as always is a waste of his talent as we all know put it to his feet in front of him and he will do the business.
It looked so much better when we went to 4-4-2 and Sakho was given a little more space as Carlton Cole actually did a pretty good job this time in winning some of the balls up to him and creating space up front.
Nene should be on the pitch for at least an hour imo and not 10 minutes as his skill and commitment helped win us the game!
International Break now and hopefully Valencia and Reid will recover for the Leicester game. Collins was my man of the match today and it was nice to see Noble having one of his best games :-) Nolan.............better but still not good enough imo! 3 points yes but that was dire at times!

Nene
is so slow, it is unbelievable. Jenkinson played a ball up the line to him and he looked like he was treading water. He has some skill and did commit the foul on Larrson that led to our goal but honestly, 10 to 20 minutes is all you are going to get out of him.Any one who reckons he should start just hasn't been watching him.I would rather play Amalfitano any day.
