What's Going On With Daffy? Sakho's On Off Move

Crystal Palace are the latest suitors for 'want away' Hammer's Senegalese striker Diafra Sakho, this latest interest comes following press coverage about his final destination ahead of the transfer window closing. West Ham have no desire to sell Diafra Sakho amid reports that the striker is trying to force a move back to France. A photograph on social media appeared to show the Senegal international at a French airport ahead of a proposed transfer to Rennes, while reports in France even go on to claim Sakho has passed a medical with the Ligue 1 club. Why on earth would West Ham want to part with one of their only three recognised strikers when they do not have time to find a replacement ahead of Thursday night's transfer deadline.

'Sulkman' was not given permission to travel to France and the club do want to sell, but as he only made three appearances last season, his move for a move' will not have the same impact as that of Dimitri Payet's move to Olympic Marseille, never the less West Ham may be tempted to accept €10 Million for a player in the last year of his contract who is statistically even more injury prone than treatment table legend Andy Carroll, who of course represents the only other recognised senior striking option apart from 'Chicarito' who must be thinking what the **** am I doing here!

Rumours of bringing a French 'wonder kid' in aren't exactly reassuring and smack of last season's disconnected transfer policy of putting too many eggs in one basket, albeit 'huge eggs'!

Unfortunately the 'Willy Carve up' deal looks unlikely to happen now, partly money, no, only money. The player himself wants to come to the London Stadium, reports that the club's early poor form have put him off a move are wide of the mark, because he has been reassured that if Slaven Billic departs, a manager of 'some significance' will be in place very quickly should the situation arise, the Portugese media in the know have confirmed as much.

Read into this what you will, but it seems the club DO want to do more business, but are playing the dangerous 'play it late' policy, sometimes it works out well, on others it can be a disaster! - Ed

I've lost the plot to be honest. I think the season will be a matter of digging out 3 worse teams than us and finishing 17th. It's going from bad to worse.....Now Swansea are loaning Renato Sanches who is quality - why cant we hijack that move...?

I'm not understanding anything anymore. I know only that the club is reigning the most total confusion. And it will have devastating effects if you do not adjust the ideas a bit.

Tbh I'm in a daze. How much is real at the club? I'm stunned, I just don't get it. The board, the manager and the players, it's like they are all deliberately try to self distruct since the start of 2018. Am I living in a parallel universe? Players not happy, manager doing crazy unexplainable things and the board running the squad thin! It just makes no sense at all. It's like they want things to collapse! Anyone else have thoughts on how this is anything other than illogical.

If anyone thinks that bringing in 1 or 2 players is going to sort out this mess then their delusional, something big time is going on and as allways the fans are kept in the dark ,i reckon some one has their finger on the self destruct button

... because in the universe I am in it is still 2017. But everything else you say is spot on, and if it's like that next year in your universe then all I can say is that we're truly sunk. ;)

It's so embarrassing I can't bear to watch. clubs are chucking huge sums of money around like confetti and the WH board are trying to do everything on the cheap. I have finally lost faith in our board to do what's right for the club and have jumped onboard the wagon that G&S are in it totally to make themselves richer. I'm gutted that our homeless club is destined not for greater things but obscurity in the lower leagues.

sakho tried to buy himself out of his contract but did not have enough money to do that and he took himself off to have a medical crazy stuff....so now the club say he is staying as a fan you have to ask why? he clearly does not want to be here its another payet situation and like that one surely the club new it was coming....so amateurish the way our club is run its hard to stick up for them when your workmates and other fans take the piss.

Club should take the money and run. But that doesn't let them off the hook. Why wasn't Sakho playing up front with Hernandez -- that's the first question everybody should be asking. Ok, he's been injured and perhaps not up to match fitness -- MAYBE, but it seems Bilic wants to go with Chicharito, Arnautovic, Antonio so there's no place for Sakho in that. So let him go. BUT FFS USE ALL THIS MONEY to bring in some QUALITY!!! That is what I don't understand. The Club is a shambles, AGAIN, and there's heaps of blame to go around.

with the carvalho deal dead in the water we now seem short of the money to even buy Kevin Mirallas and want a loan deal instead and everton have said no to that...so a summer that had much promise will draw into a cold winter chill as the nights draw in and we sit here pondering just how does this club manage to run and survive.
