The Emirates FA Cup fourth round sees West Ham United drawn to face AFC Wimbledon, Hammers have already faced Wimbledon at their Cherry Red Records home this season, having played them in the second round of the Carabao Cup in August. Manuel Pellegrini's men won on the day with goals from Issa Diop, Angelo Ogbonna and Javier Hernandez.

The Fourth round ties will be played on the weekend of the 26th of January television schedules permitting. There have already been some high profile departures from the much devalued competition, but it still has European qualification guaranteed, and progressing in the FA Cup gives fans and fringe players hope for the future. - Ed

Well said Nev ,but I still say the early rounds of this competition are as bad as the international breaks if anyone tells me Liverpool didn't throw that game tonight then there not livin in the real world ,at the end of the day there's only 2 trophy's that matter to the top clubs and we all know what they are

was not impressed...oh look we have the glory of playing for 7th in the prem to chase now...nice little dig there i thought....Listening to various arguments today on whether certain clubs are not paying respect to "the best cup competition in the world" i have come to the conclusion that maybe if clubs had to name say 18 players for the competition before it starts it may change attitudes of those clubs..Rmbr how bfs snubbed west ham fans by naming a youth side against forest and when we got stuffed 5-0 he was not bothered he came out with the smart mouth remark about how everyone clamoured for the inclusion of reserve/youth football but "see what happens when you do"....Prick he insulted the fans by deliberately playing too many that game because he thought we were going to beat citeh over two legs in the league cup and we all know what happened when we played them!...point being if teams had to name 18 players for the competition would they be so drastic in team changes i very much doubt that.....Clubs need to be reminded just how much the F.A. cup means to us fans and if you decide to play reserves you have no right to demand high ticket prices for second string teams

Oh well, if they don't wanna be in it they won't win it...simples.
I'd be happy for a long cup run which eventuates into a cup win...Anyone else?

it would be great to see my old local club Barnet beat Brentford, too...

The ground holds less than 5000! They might have to change it to the L.S & I know how much you want to go to there!!;)

Its not a daft idea for Wimbledon to move the tie, potential 60K, bigger receipts for them, chance to park the bus and get away with a draw for another money spinning replay... and who wouldn't want to come to the LS :o)

I went to the brum game and would like to go to the wombles if I could get a ticket. As far as the stadium is concerned I'm still on the fence. 15 quid a tickets was good, I was so close I could sit on pells lap! The boy was on the subs bench! Good view and had a good day but no idea what it's like further back! Was shocked how far we had to walk to the station! Can't believe both sets of fans were mixed! The horror if it was millwall! British rail surpassed themselves. Asked where the Colchester train was and they came back with the question is it anywhere near KENT! Given wrong directions asked another employee who couldn't understand me as I spoke English and he didn't.

Stopped venues being switched few years back now as it ruined the spirit of the competion....and i totally agreed with them....as for getting too see the game yes it may be difficult but i know a couple of stewards over there so never say never eh:-)

I'm this all started when they took it away from the been ,I know the match the other night was on the BBC but the magic of this comp was the final ,it used to start at 10 in the morning ,the teams hotel ,the trip to Wembley on the coach ,inside the dressing rooms , bloody fantastic ,then more money reared it's ugly head ,even changing the semi's to Wembley was a bad idea imo there isn't the giant killings there used to be,if I was a Liverpool fan I would have been livid at the outcome of Monday nights game
