An epic fall but respect is due

I have just seen footage of Madonna's fall at the Brit awards but, as much as I'm not a fan at all, the recovery was professional and admirable. I saw this and thought 'how does she compare to a lot of the so called modern day footballers?' Madonna is 56, and she fell from a small height onto her back but she got straight back up and finished the performance without rolling around or bitching to get someone else into trouble. So how pathetic are a lot of the so called 'men' that go down from a challenge these days?

What really gives me the tom tits is the blokes I listen to now and then on Talkshite, chelski and manure fans. They say these pro's have to go down as its what everyone does.
Well, if there was some retrospective bans and fines for these divers would it change? I suspect it might if the bans were long enough.
In my day if you got tackled fairly you got up, dusted yourself down and got on with it and only the Europeans, especially the Italians and Spanish, were diving and writhing for free kicks.
Properly over the play acting and fair play to Madge. Doesn't wanna grow old gracefully, bless her...

I heard dear old Jose was in the front row, claiming it could have been a career ending injury. Apparently The Brits are getting Dermot Gallagher in to discuss if the right decision was to carry on or if Madge after going down (not for the first time) it has to be said. Should have been brought off (again not for the first time). I'm ere all week.................
