Now he's hatdky been bang in form of late and many fans have lambasted his current inclusion in the team but I felt he'd have helped us out today. Nolan would have added the organisation to the team as there was none to be had today. Especially at set pieces!!! He also would have added a bit of bite to the midfield too that merely let Puncheon, Bolasie and McAthur run riot.

Can't think of any other manger that would play him out wide, when he was having his best ever season playing down the middle . Didn't Sam say when Downing played for England and had a poor game, why did Roy play him out wide when Everone knows his best position is down the middle .

He's been chasing shadows and been pulled from pillar to post so totally out of position all season. He was good for us but I really no longer see the benefit and today he wouldn't have made any difference in my opinion.

Nolan's problem now is he know's he's not first choice as the others are better than him. If he plays he doesn't have the ability to grab the game by the scruff on the neck and influence those players around him. He'd have been worse than the other 3 today and it would have been 5-0

They were up for it or West Ham hate early games or was it the tactics of Big Sam, whatever the situation , I doubt Nolan could have sorted out the shambles that was West Ham united today.
Palace were on top of our players and our players gave up.
Nolan has had his time done his bit could still be a useful sub but for me if he does not score he is a luxury West Ham cannot afford.
Maybe nt_ there are games where his captaincy have made the difference but I doubt this game would have been one of them.
