He could be out up to eight weeks now. If true that means he can't train with a knee injury so when he can train and get up to match fitness the season will be coming to the end. So we might not see much more of our Andy, wish I could get 80k a week for just 10 weeks work a season .

I think that's dead right, Burkie. Many of us were saying that AC should be a "super-sub" coming on for 20-30 mins to scare the crap out of tiring defenders when the dangerous twins weren't working. Maybe it will now sink in to Sam that he has to use him that way.

I was surprised, to be honest, that Andy Carroll lasted as long as he did this time around.

Sadly Carroll will probably be remembered as the biggest waste of money rather than a decent striker who got all the goals.
He has a problem he cannot leap too high if at all, and for a 6 foot 2 striker that is a big problem to have.

Keiron dyer springs to mind!Luckily we have sakho & valencia. But im afraid we have a striker that is too injury prone!am i the only one who watched him walking with crutches & thought he had a look on his face as if to say "so what this is nothing new!"At the end of the day hes going to pick up his fat cheque every month is he bothered?i doubt it somehow!

Yes just heard he needs a knee op so out for the rest of the season. Bad luck on him and was useful to have as another option. Hope that Sakho and Valencia can keep injury free. Maybe Carlton will get a few goals!
