Ahead of the weekend's crunch game against visitors Southampton there has been much media speculation as to exactly why West Ham seem hell bent of self destruction, the Board's resolute support of beleaguered manager David Moyes has gone form 'Loyal' to 'Loony' progressively to the point that NO ONE in their right mind who is any good woud want to rock up at the as yet unnamed Lnndon Stadium.

The enforced International break came just t the right or wrong time for West Ham, depending on what happens next? The time has allowed the board to 'consider all their options' with regards to David Moyes continued tenure as manager as well as allowing some of the club's players to go put an 'express themselves' for their teams.

Tonight England face Italy for their European Championship Qualifying Group C game at The Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, a game that promises to feature two if not three Hammers players. Declan Rice lines up for England against Roberto Mancini's Italian team that will most likely feature Emerson Palmieri and Gianluca Scamacca.

Is It Strikers Or Moyes' Fault?

Scurrilous rumours have been 'leaked' to the Press recently regarding Hammers £35 Million striker Gianluca Scamacca, apparently Dino Moyes is 'unhappy' with the imposing 6'5" striker. Perhaps it is because Scamacca stands head and shoulders over the visibly ageing Moyes?

Funnily enough another tall striker also incurred Dino's displeasure, record signing Sebastien Haller was deemed 'not fit for purpose' by Moyes and was moved on at enormous financial loss. The Frenchman went on to break the Champions League scoring record while at Ajax before moving to Germany.

West Ham will 'enjoy' a break from their Premier League survival scrap this weekend because the game against Manchester City has been postponed due to City's Cup endeavours. However any joy will be relatively short lived because after this weekend is the International break during which many of Dino Moyes' team will be off representing their respective nations.

Conspiracy theories abound at this moment in time regarding the club's descent into the Championship, why would the Board want it? Their share values will go down like a lead balloon following relegation, so why on Earth are they seemingly just watching on as their prized asset's value crashes?

Picture it now, your team are at home to the League's biggest time wasters and worst 'simulators'. Despite you, your team is still in with a shout for three incredibly valuable points in their desperate scrap against relegation. 60,000 fans are cheering your team on for the closing stages of the game which is finely balanced, the match officials, particularly the linesman on the opposite flank to the dug outs are blind to the 'Villains' perpetual play acting and time wasting, but nevertheless there is is still a good chance of getting a result, so what do you do?
