Yes I am taking the peas, bloody hell how bad does Allardyce want the fans to suffer ?.
They went down to 10 men after 23 minutes and all we can manage is to score a penalty.
Were we defending and sitting deep once more against a dead team ? knowing Allardyce very probably.

I went Saturday with the eldest.
The start of Armadillo was tempered with that of Nolan. Now although I'm a harsh bastard, I give everyone a chance.
The game meandered into a contrititional long ball exercise after 10 minutes. We had no width and no effort.
All of a sudden, armadillo thought "fuck this" and came inside.
Thus ensued a game plan creativity.
It stemmed from armadillo.
Enid ran like the wind left right and centre. I've rarely seen a foreigner run that hard since the London marathon.
And then we had captain Nolan. Now I've said some harsh things about him before. Let me just say, not only were they justified, I'd go so far as to say he's raping my club.
He is a disgrace.
He knows he shouldn't be in the top tier, and the coup de grace was 29:56 (I looked at my sons Casio) when he waited for a really high ball, all alone...for seconds and seconds, steadied himself, 3 or 4 times, then fell over, and the ball bounced 5 yards away. The crowd laughed. Bye chicken.
Ironically they had a man (wrongly) sent off after 25 minutes...I had no sympathy, we'd been down to 10 since the start.
Credit where credits due, I thought we played well after.
Both fullbacks offered and gained and teased. Wilted was rangy and offered himself everywhere.
Mom, armadillo, buzzed and flitted, gave and go, sparked and teased. Basically the best teaser since Yossi.
Collins was Collins and did it all, I wish we JD kept him all those years ago, and young Burke was cool.
Burke is getting plaudits and rightly so. Young man, 2 clean sheets.
My early thought is nothing special. Not fast, reads well but let's face it, he's faced relegation strikers.
The Barnet is a tad 80s too...
Oh well.
Maybe my game coverage is the reason they turned me down for the programme....

and how good did Nene look? shame only 3 games to go, we will never see how good he could have been in a claret & blue shirt. Hopefully only 3 games left for Chicken Kiev and Sam too......onwards & upwards......

Never looked comfortable on the ball and shocked me as I remember a young Rio looking different class at 16/17, nowhere near the talent and worrying. I have heard and read comments about Reece Oxford being better than Rio at the same age, I very much doubt it as I remember watching Rio in the FA Youth Cup Final v Liverpool at Upton Park and he was head and shoulders above everyone. Rio Ferdinand was a class above, hence him being transferred for mega millions as a defender and ending up as captain for Manure lifting the Champions League trophy in a double winning season. We all hope but we better pray, as being anywhere Rio as a player would be brilliant for our club so lets see...........

Why has it taken Sam so effing long to give Amalfitano a run out when every person in the ground can see Nolan isn't up to it? I mean he even drops Song instead of Nolan. Now I know Song hasn't been in great form recently, but Nolan hasn't been in great form for 2 effing years!!!!
It is this masterstroke alone that should cost Sam his job, persistently reducing us to 10 men from the off.

Well, we had lots of shots, in the second half particularly, but most were off target. But their keeper did keep them in it. BUT you are right to point out our shortage of goals from open play. Only scored more than 1 goal 3 times since Christmas, not good enough.

I thought we were very attack minded today for a change!also good atmosphere in the ground (especially where we were in the east stand).Downing has got slagged off for some reason-i thought he had a good game.Nolan was nolan, carlton was carlton so same old there!Amal was bright from the start, nene was great whan he came on,nearly scored a worldy but for their keeper!!Everybody has been saying for weeks now that amal & nene should both start-very evident today!Kouyate & ginge were stand outs for me.The boy burke is one for the future but boy was he making us all nervous in the first half, but hes only young so time will tell..All in all 3 points is good, should have been more, one last point the ref today took incompetence to another level!Blatant trip on downing for a penalty & he books downing for diving...incredible decision that one...

This makes me more annoyed with our manager along with that we have a few players that should have been played being played and showing so obviously that they should have always been played too.
So what happens now ?, its all a bit worrying to me because even though we may be happier someone will not change he just tickles us occasionally.

don't forget that little gem.......we played some nice stuff, but to be honest it was like watching a pre-season exhibition game. We are still too slow and lack the final ball. Nene was superb when he came on, why oh why is he not given more game time......oh I forgot, Sam's best mate.....Nolan. Happy with the 3 points and some nice football (at times) but really thought we were gonna throw away another lead.

Ridiculous, and the way Nolan tried to score with that pathetic side footed attempt at the goalkeeper shows how low he is on confidence and form.

we didn't stamp our authority on possession after the red card quickly enough in my opinion. I have to say that the young lad Burke didn't look comfortable at all on the ball and made it blatantly obvious that he can't kick with his left foot, even though he was playing more to the left hand side? Got caught out easily by Ings and he should have scored with a header, will give him time as he is young and it's good that we are finally bringing someone through the ranks. The penalty was spot on but the sending off was harsh and I felt that the referee lost control at times.

Watched from the comfort of my living room on the old lappy mate and yep defo penalty but the red was harsh, I thought Cole and Nene linked well for their cameo and we should have had a second spot kick when Downing was clipped (but as we are not Liverpool, Chelsea or Man U that would answer that one) Downing and Noble carded? ref did lose the plot and jeez this guy is reffing the Cup Final well Gooners and Villa good luck with that. Burke has plenty to learn but needs more game time though I don't fancy him up against Benteke next week.

Downing and Noble should never been carded but we paid for the ref's earlier rash call to send the guy off. Burke will have any confidence he has, didn't see any on Saturday, knocked out of him if he plays against Benteke.
