It's 51 years today England won the world cup............with a little help from the east end of London..

Southgate took the England team to visit an orphanage in Brazil this week. "It's good to put a smile on the faces of people with no hope, constantly struggling and facing the impossible." said Emilio Di Costa aged 6 ;)

when you have the attitude of if we reach the quarter finals it will be a good world cup for us you will win nothing....you have to go to win it otherwise why bother playing....

If we were going to win the cup again, the '70 and 1990 squad ( IMO ) were the two that could have done it..

The only other squad I'd add to that which wasn't world cup was the 96 Euro but still worth a mention since we'd give a collective nut to win a trophy. All three well managed and two of them on bloody penalties.

They all put the mens senior side to shame...especially the women who are a breath of fresh air imo!!
No arguing with the ref,or feigning injury like theyve just been shot!!
