Does that get you excited for the game or what.
Surely its time to have a go, they will be bricking it if we do or am i wrong ?.
Come on Sam give attractive fast football a chance.

In my opinion we should of sacked BFS and got in Sherwood long ago. He is young and passionate and has his team playing attacking football. Going for a clean sheet shows a complete disregard to our position of safety for the season. We should be going out on a limb to play fast, attractive football a la pre Xmas. Bloke has to go.

We are playing villa who are on fire under sherwood.Especially if ginge is out,how is young burke going to cope with benteke. No disrespect to the young lad,but he is a little bit out of his depth.imo sam there is no point in trying to be defensive in this game,id rather us lose 3-2 than 1-0,so why not a battlecry of "come on lads 9th spot is still a possibility, lets go for it".Nene & valencia up top, amal, downing, kouyate & noble in midfield-take it to em!!I fear not though....

Agree Hammer65,Burke against Benteke is a worry,Villa are on fire and not the best game to use inexperience .Then again he may rise to the occasion and have a blinder.

Have stopped watching Sam's pressers as they just depress me, his perpetual talking up of the opposition is defeatist: you have to be aware of the other side's threats, but Sam takes it too far, and I believe it sinks into our players so that we are on the back foot right from the start. However, today, if Collins is out, meaning all of our experienced centre-halves are injured, as well as our 2 main strikers, maybe he is right to be defeatist!! I'm usually optimistic, but today I fear the worst. If we get anything out of this game I will be surprised and delighted.

Hard to say this but I have to admire Sherwood, although you might say he had no choice, but he's had a go and given youth a chance and it has given them a fighting chance to stay up. Even with that pressure they manage to get to a Cup Final, which was something we failed miserably to do even though we were safe. That to me was the most disappointing thing this season.

Ok ok, I'll play 4 at the back 5 in the middle and 1 up top. My main man Nolan can boss the middle, he's due a goal so no need to put 2 up front. Carlton up top to hold the ball up and provide the knockdown's to chicken. Nobes an Downing can fill the other spots but maybe not in their preferred positions as we need to close the opposition down and ensure we protect the draw. Right where's my gum, I need to lay down in the dugout? That enough change for ya?
