Everton

Everton are there for the taking on Wednesday night. They are even shakier than us at the back and we need to get some decent crosses to Carroll. I jusr hope we put in the same effort and team spirit . Am going for a win and possibly 3-1 result.

No Carroll please. We try and play to his strengths and he's hardly ever in the right position...I'd start Sakho and Hernandez with Martinez on the bench. good game to get him on for half an hour,

I know masu put in some shite crosses, but carroll ain't even attacking corners,he may have got the winner Friday if he busted a gut,and got round the back with our last corner.

I can remember 4 or 5 great crosses and balls in to Carroll which he decided to stand still and not even attack which 2-3 years ago he would score

Everton looks tired and David Unsworth had that same look in his eye AS Slav had a broken man, and I won't be surprised to see West Ham as his last game in charge with Martin O Neill in the stand watching. This is where Moyes getting them fit will pay dividends and I think you could not have picked a better time to play Everton 3 games in 8 days and come the 2nd half I reckon they will be on their knees but we should be patient and make sure we don't do anything silly in the first half. I'd start Sacko and Antonio and give Ogbonna a rest and put in Noble and use Carrol as an impact Sub in the second half when Everton are knackered. Deffo fancy 3 very important points here

Everton have long been a bogey side for us and the fact it's at Goodison Park makes it a bit tougher. They'll be looking at this as a chance to get a positive result but this is a must 3 points for us and I expect nothing less than a 200% effort with stretchers required at the end of the game to carry our players off exhausted by their commitment. Less than that and a defeat, well we'll be bottom at xmas for sure.
