Sack Bilic

we were simply not good enough today...the team slav put out had me worried..upfront looked ok but midfield was clearly not going to be strong enough with players out etc, obiang had a mare our defence basically gave up the ghost after the 2nd goal went in....we wont be facing teams like this every week but clearly the need for decent midfielder is there and sadly obiang or noble are going to have to make way....if we lose heavy next weekend then ye I do believe the pressure would be on the manager big time...just hope he does not rush back players to early and they then become long term injuries like carroll and sak...I would make a point though that the 4th goal in particular was bad it was not even in the corner and hart seemed to dive over it!

we had nothing in midfield, all three were useless, if you have a decent mid the defence is not under so much pressure. Very disappointed, again we lacked fitness, 11 fit men could have prevented 4 0

Is the lack of fight especially against the so called big clubs,we had it last season now again today.
Lets be honest if we had got a point today it would have been a result,we all knew in the back of our minds that a win was pretty improbable but at least roll the sleeves up & show some fight...yesterday Burnley, huddersfield & watford coming back to draw against the scouse, all showed incredible fight & togetherness that we just dont seem to have at the moment...i get its the first game of the season & all that but this team needs to gel together quick & fast, cos the knives will be out for slav if its the same next week & then its back to the drawing board for another manager to step in....

I'm gutted, I can barely speak, but why am I surprised? Maybe we were undercooked for the 2nd season in a row? I'd like to have my say on bilic but as I have said it regularly, I just don't have the enthusiasm anymore. Good job we went to contain them! It says far more about us than it does man u

Shh Fred I was criticised when I suggested he was no better than uncle avram. If we don't pick up at least 3 points from our first 3 games after last season, he should do the honourable thing and walk.

Part of the consequences of a performance like that against the media's darlings is having to listen to that bollox Tyler and the plebs on motd ,watched it tonight and afterwards in the analysis we wernt even mentioned ,not even "Jesus but they were bad "it was all how great united were and how many points they were goin to win the prem by

Haven't seen the game or lowlights yet, but as soon as I saw the scoreline the first question that entered my head, was, will we ever go through a season without conceding 4 goals in at least one game? Humiliating start to the season, bottom of the table and from the articles I've read, not even at the races. Obviously kicking off your season agst Manure away was unlikely to bear fruit but come on, some backbone maybe?

A loss away to one of the regular top six teams isn't an outright surprise. I haven't see the game so I'll not say anything about what we should have done but I am very disappointed in how we went from 2-0 down with a few minutes to go to 4-0 at the final whistle. This just isn't good enough to capitulate in this way. Over the summer I've read about how we'll be in the battle for a European place, something I've looked at and not entirely bought into but I've been looking forward to a considerably better season than the last. A complete turnaround in the quality of out defence and keep the ball out of our area/net type spirit needs to happen quickly, not close to Christmas (or later) or I'll be happy to join the title of this thread. No more last season lackadaisical, manyana, "we'll be alright if we could sort these injuries out" type of sh1t just get it sorted out.

with the first three games away from home this will be a very difficult season. We have passengers in the team, Fernandes and Noble to name two and great move bringing on sulky Sakho. Bright sports were the new signings, thought they all looked ok and Rice is the future. Yesterday in short was a shambles and I not prepared to hear from anyone excuses about it was Man United...., what did you expect particularly those who said the same when we where humiliated by City in Iceland

Agree with so many of you on here. Clearly West Ham United were not prepared for this match, and did not have an adequate strategy for it either. That's coaching and managing. Zabaleta wasn't the worst of our players, but it's clear he cannot cope with gazelles. That's one worry. Midfield: Obiang was awful. Wasn't there an Italian team ready to spend more than £10M for him? Hmmmm, I'd bite their hand off right now. Noble, sadly, is in the twilight of his career. I feel sorry the the guy, because he never really kicked on to that extra level. Chicharito will get unsettled VERY quickly if we continue to play like this. But the bottom line is the manager -- even with players out, we had a team no worse (on paper) than a Watford or a Burnley; on paper probably a good deal better. But our manager and coaches did not have a competitive game plan, nor did they have the skills of the team up to any sort of EPL standard. Arnautovic's crosses were pathetic. He's better than that; it's up to the managers and coaches to bring out the best. Masuaku also had a mare. For me, it's enough to show that Bilic is not a Premier League manager.
