Koemans heading for the chop.....losing at home to Burnley is bad buts what will be worse for him is when we go to burnley after the break and destroy them!

It's quite possible that Koeman might be sacked soon, (a few rumours hinting that) if he does and Sullivan doesn't get him immediately and sacks bilic, then we know we are going nowhere. People say no one is available so why sack bilic well I'm damn sure we won't get anyone better than Koeman in the summer. Of course there are better managers but we won't be after them. When bilic goes no one in the prem or any other top football country will touch him with a barge pole, whereas Koeman will get decent offers.

Betty totally Agree on raneri. I didn't want bilic out after 3 games. I wanted him out at the end of last season. Why do you seem to have forgotten or disregarded last season? For me it's not results it about entertainment. There is no entertainment in the way we play or indeed the shambles it's all become. I'd argue we are actually worse this season rather than last, and we were terrible last season! So bilic has failed to address that on any level for the whole of last season, this preseason and the games since. That's around about 15 months, not 3 games! So I don't understand how anyone can say give him time. It just doesn't sound logical, infact it reads like people are sticking their head in the sand. How does he come back from it? Well for me, he needs to get them fitter, settle on his formation, pick a well balanced side, stop playing his favourites and pick the players that are performing. And finally regardless of results play a brand of football that's enjoyable to watch. I don't care what division we are in the team needs to entertain. It's what the club was built on.

No my question is how do you come back from where you are now if he turns it around? You wanted him out before the season started and we finished realistically where we should have, after the Payet debarcle. Do you think you're relaitstic in what you expect? Apart from the top teams most clubs don't entertain they just battle to get points to stay in the league. I think some fans are so detached from the team its easy to chop and change when they feel like. If you guys supported Palace you'd have been looking for manager number three already after 7 games. There aren't enough qualified people out there. If you want lovely entertaining football, it ain't gonna happen at West Ham anytime soon, you may as well get used to that or look for another hobby. BTW unfortunately it is all about results nothing else, the money in football dictates that. We all have a choice to go and watch or not or switch off our PCs

Betty, am I being realistic? I think I am without doubt being realistic. Asking for my team to play entertaining football in an entertainment industry. Something that makes me want to go and watch the team. Some excitement. Why is that not realistic? I'm not expecting ANYTHING outside of that. If that is too much in this day and age in football then is it any wonder why fans are falling out of love with football. I'm not disagreeing with all you and hammer65 have said infact there are some decent points from both of you. Are you saying that we have to put up with anti-football just to exist as a team? Of course not, but like has been said its all about money and scrapping around making sure you are not in the bottom 3. That might be good for the greedy board and hangers or even the new breed of fan but not for me. I'm happy to to except bilic on any terms if he was playing decent football that's as simple as it gets. So both he and I can easily come back from this unless you feel bilic ISNT realistically capable than doing this. So my thoughts on turning it around may not be the same as yours. If he finishes top 8 playing this way I wouldn't like it either. But if we get relegated playing watchable football I'd be happy. I just think some people have accepted the only thing that matters is winning. It's about a lot more than that. After all you yourself said its not easy watching the way we play. I'm sticking to my principals I'm old school. Get another hobby? It's already happening for me and thousands around the country. You have only got to read this board to hear what other people do or rather do to see people are drifting away. Trouble is we are all hoping things will change as we now only follow West Ham from afar rather be a fan.

Look at palace,7 losses from the first 7 games -unheard of in the prem...we are what we, battling to stay out of the bottom 3 & hopefully move up towards mid-table...the game that we all grew up on,supporting our team through thick & thin, is all about who has the wealthiest owners nowadays.Sad fact but true....
i will go a few games this season but its not an important part of my life anymore,i havnt watched MOTD once this season, havnt watched any other prem games apart from westham & even on holiday last week i was on the beach rather than watch the spuds & swans games!!The money in the game has changed football for ever im afraid.

I've drifted further from the game than I ever thought could happen. I've watched one WH game this season on the box and that was the defeat to Spuds cos it was on at a favourable time. I check the result first thing and read the report and think if it's worth a gander I'll watch it on demand. So far we've played shit by all accounts inc on this board and i've got a million other things I could do and watch.
The money aspect really has killed the game compared to what it once was and what with the top 6 now demanding more from the TV rights the game feels like it could be killed off as a professional sport unless you're in the elite.

It doesnt add up, the money has trivialised the game. If you cant beat them, join them - let Carroll go to Neverton, but make sure they pay through the nose for him. In no rush to sell him sp lets play hard to get... no doubt if we do this, 10 other clubs will jpin the race to sign him
