Hello all,
I have been a member before but this is my new profile. Just wanted to know if anyone else feels like me in that I feel Mark Noble should be dropped for the WBA game Saturday? I have never been one to criticise Noble but his performances lately in my eyes have been sub standard to say the least. I can't recall a player/club captain with as much top flight experience as he has, give the ball away so much! I honestly think Obiang deserves a run in the team in his place, in my opinion Obiang is a better passer of the ball and doesn't get the amount of game time he deserves.
What do you lot think?

Mark knows he had a bad game and will make amends, and this is coming from someone who is a big fan of Obiang :o)

I'm afraid I can't hear a bad word about Mark Noble. People like Mark only come around once in a blue moon. He's class and he's ours.
I'm not his biggest fan but
I'm not his biggest fan but thought he was very good last season, possibly his best season as a Hammer, and I think this was due to better players around him, this is also the reason I think we've struggled so far this season, our better players haven't featured enough. That said I think we look very lacklustre/ unfit at the moment, our central players aren't tracking back and we look like statues at times, hopefully Slav can turn it around before he gets even more abuse!

I fear Noble has run his heart out in pre-season and the europa cup ( probably the only one who did!) he looked really jaded on saturday. maybe he does need a short break, who would be the best replacement captain for a match or two?
Logically it should be Reid
Logically it should be Reid Nev but I don't think he's at his best at the moment, I think I'd opt for Ogbonna or Kouyate, both need to play in my opinion

The issue we have is when
The issue we have is when Noble doesn't play it becomes really noticeable and we struggle to even get attacks started. Being perfectly honest he wasn't anywhere near as bad on saturday people make out. Kouyate was the biggest problem as he lost the ball countless times and just strolled back lazily leaving Noble overrun. Lanzini second half aswell just stopped tracking back. Yes Nobles not been at his best but he plays better when we have our better attackers for him to pass and move off of. I'm more worried about how bad Collins and Reid are (i'll leave byram alone as it was his first bad game).

To be fair though Fred if players aren't pulling their weight Noble should be rollicking them, part of being the captain, we need to defend as a team, can't be carrying luxury players in the Premier League.

Payet never tracked back 2nd half either. Although when he did in the 1st half he wasn't always effective anyway. Too much gap between the defence and attack was one of the problems. Left loads of space for noble and Kouyate to cover and they couldn't handle it.
