Last year I impressed my new boss and his clients of a delivery firm by racing around London in my Mercedes Sprinter meeting all deadlines and delivering a greater than expected efficiency. He has rewarded me this year by saying I can continue to work for them with a pay rise but he is replacing the Merc. with a Reliant Robin but still expects the same standards and more.....What should I do?, he might upgrade a to a ford escort van should one come on the market at a decent price or if he can loan one off his mate. (Dodgy Daves Brown envelope under the counter Deliveries, always use the back entrance).

There ambitious plans are about to bite them up the arse ,just read a quote i think is relative
"Growth for the sake of growth is nothing but the ideology of the cancer cell "

What a load of old bollox. How's about this? You're employer tells you he will give you a job until you retire and pay you enough money to retire on. You tell him although you liked your Merc Sprinter you actually want a Range Rover Vogue and because you didn't get it you're going on strike. You're not working anymore and want full pay until you retire. The geezer is mugging you off mate. A season and a half with glimpses of greatness and it's all one sided. No one thinks this summer was a good transfer window. They over promised , exaggerated, lied whatever, but to down tools, no sorry he's a proper c***. This hasn't just come about this has been there since the summer. He signed that contract with no intention of staying, he just covered his bases. He thought if he had a good Euros one of the big boys would come in for him, the 5 year contract was to up his price and take away all his own risk. Miserable, lethargic, doesn't give a toss about you Isaac or any of us, and you're defending him!

Agree and come on payet hasnt been doing it at all . even before the transfer window closed he did not put any effort in and hasnt looked interested since. I still think he expected the big teams to come calling following last seasons performance and as soon as the board stuck a massive price on his head nobody bothered and he started sulking straight away hence his performances. As our star player who we relied on last season to get us out the shit then the other players were relying on him to do the same this season. Because he wasnt interested in playing this would have obviously had a detrimental effect on the team and may well explain our abysmal form so far. It may now all change as the bad apple has been taken out of the barrel.

I agree. His form has been hey we have played badly. The Watford game is a brilliant example. The first he and we were unplayable. We gave away a couple of crap goals and instead of driving us forward he went missing. Fred and others may see it the other way, but when your best player doesn't want to play it will affect you all. He's at fault for our season as much as the owners for crap transfer window. Let's move on make Lanzini the main man and get players in that wan to play for us
