none of which are playing and you better phone bilic mate as the club have made the position a priority with scouts scouring Europe for a top class R/B.....tell them not to waste there money and use the 3 we have....or continue picking names out of the hat to see who plays there each week....

I'm going to have to spell it out for you as you just don't get it. If we have two rbs on the books, and they aren't injured for the whole season, we aren't going to buy another until we either let one or both go. Only the top 4 teams would and could afford more than two fullbacks on their books at any one time. We will always have 4 fullbacks and 4 centre halves that's how it works. To buy another RB is fantasy football stuff, plus no good rb would want to join when two are already there. The solution is for me both our current rbs go in the summer and we get a really good one and a back up. I may be alone but I'm with Bilic in Bryam. He's a lovely kid and all that but he's not a prem defender and has been found out too easily in quite a few games. He's obviously a fans favourite somehow, I think more for image, as in he's young, English etc.... but he can get away with Watford's first goal when we were at home to them, where as Kouyate is slated at the weekend. Plus Byram is meant to be an out and out rb and he would make the same mistake as kouyate did. Unfortunately in the real world of football, FairPlay rules, budgets, contracts etc..... you just can't go and "get another one" if the ones you have aren't any good or have a bad game. It still surprises me that grown adults still have this view of football, added to that "if you pay them enough they'll come" attitude.

they tried to sign the st ettienne R/B in January but failed and so now it seems the deals going through this summer...did you call them to say as a we are not one of the big four we cannot sign a R/B and so that's why the deal failed??

Prove it. If it's one of those "so they say" things. I'll take it with a pinch of salt. Or bearing in mind you've never been to a home game all season and a staunch anti owner campaigner I could take it as more fantasy maybe. Tell me different

you make me laugh mate no wonder your looking to change your account...because I criticise the board on certain matters does not make me anti owner...and looking after my family comes before a home game mate its called getting your priorities straight......so if you want to try and get personal fine but do me a favour and when you change your account make your name something original because what you have shows ltd ability to have an original thought...now while your bursting a blood vessel there typing something nasty I will just as you say "take it with a pinch of salt" when it arrives

I have to disagree with your POV on Byram. This fixation that fans have that every player bought whether young or not so young has to immediately slot in and be on their game for Day 1 is a travesty for young players. Playing in the PL is a step up from the Championship so the kid may need a bit longer to settle in than say Antonio did and this season Feghouli (can he play RB?). That doesn't mean he's not good enough, just means he needs a little bit of patience shown.

I think it does mean he's not good enough. The prem is too demanding now and fans want instant success. The money and politics have a big factor in this, and unfortunately watching a kid grow in a team is almost a non option. The only time it works if he's like Rashford and hits the ground running, then age is irrelevant.

Probably the easiest position on the pitch yet we as a professional PL club fail to have a fit one for most games???

What I dont get is why if hes that adamant that he has to play someone out of position there , surely it makes more sense to play Masuaku there considering hes a left back? Its the same position after all just on the opposite side. If Joey O'Brien can be a solid left back being right footed why cant cress or Masuaku do the same on the opposite side.
