Sakho disruptive influence? moody git? self important prick? or none of those just a player frustrated ever since his disastrous african nations and that back injury which was compounded by his countries medical team...all reports now say he is looking strong and raring to go so would you be tempted to give him a go or try and sell him? personally i would love to see him back and playing upfront his movement and pace scares defenders and if hopefully his mindsets right we will have back a top striker which we need to go along with chicharito...of course nobody here can see slav playing 2 up top but i wish he would because the movement of both these players would be to much for a lot of teams to cope with...

agree there get him fit ship him out and carroll pay him up ship him out

Come on, I love Carlton but Sakho has a much better eye in front of goal! He deserves another chance, if he has put his injury/mental woes behind him. Just has to understand, Chicarito is the main man

Give a run in the team or off the bench, good squad player, if he gets goals the value increases and can then be shipped out to Palace in the January window :o)

For me it's his last chance saloon. I would definately buy another striker regardless but as his contract is supposed to run out at the end of next season I'd stick with him for the time being. If I remember rightly it's his first proper pre season for quite a while and now and with Gary Lewin here we have a chance of a happy ending. Having said that if he picks up another long term injury maybe he should be paid off? I'd rather have him upfront than Carroll if we could get them both fit!

been pondering the sakho/carroll both fit equation for some time and he has not managed it..he wanted to use the large hadron collider to calculate the possibility of it happening in any reality but soon as the word collider was mentioned carroll went down like a sack of protons!

We all know that sakho or carroll cant be relied on for fitness physically or mentally so no point even considering them as westham players anymore

A goal every 3 games and a very decent player for only £5m and around £30k per week. He can score goals and is worth the risk compared to the current inflated fees and salaries for unproven talent, most of which come with problems. I want him in a better place mentally but still worth the risk in my opinion.

what was it 2 starts one goal last season. Sakho has just been unlucky unfortunately for him. But im with you keep, good option to have as hes pacy, runs the channels, can score with his head or feet. People tend to forget how much better we are when he plays.

if if if if if if ........ He's no good as a person. Batters his wife in front of his two year old, plays around, sulks misses training, team buses... ball blah, he's just a wrong-un get shot and give Martinez a chance

I like Sakho for his pace and movement, there is certainly goals in him ,once fully fit he will be competing for a first team place.Carroll on the other hand ,I rate also, but I would only use him as plan B, crosses into the box, long ball game to the target man, when plan A ,the pace and movement game isn't working. Two quality players who I would definitely have in the squad when fit,but if a large bid comes in I can see the sense in moving on,because of their injury concerns.Certainly wouldn't sell either of them for a low fee ,to get them off the payroll.

if he has rehabilitated well then I consider him an asset with his movement and ability to find the net afterall it is the last year of his contract so he may just play well to get a new club.

against huddersfield is when he will be risked according to reports today..he came through game against spuds looking strong and fit so why another month? chicharito upfront on his own then first 3 matches maybe martinez on the bench....give sakho a run he pulls up injured what have you lost? and then we will no we need to buy another striker..see all the usual rubbish about carroll being put through a very intensive and hard gym regime intent on ruling out any weakness and any potential fresh injury....been here before he will get a glowing report start a couple of games and pull up with some innocuous muscle strain and so the circus starts again..
