He's recently stated that if a bid comes in from Real or Barcelona and Payet wants to go, then, ... Just when the agent and player had been saying they want to stay! Even if we go £70M for Payet, we'd have a gaping hole in our squad, we'd feel like mugs (no more "We've got Payet"), and to get even one superstar in return we'd have to pay half of all that and hope he'd actually want to come to West Ham. The chairmen really should be saying, "Not at any price".
