For a start there must be a big clean out, the likes of Zazza, Tore, Callerie, Nordvelt, even Fernandez have to go. I don't expect Payet to stay as he will not want to face relegation and will be tempted by the bigger clubs with the promise of European football so we will need to find players that can help us stay up. For me it is good if we can get in 1 or 2 decent foriegn players but I would look to the championship players as they would not be as expensive but have a bit of experience. Also the Scottish league as there are some players that could adapt quicker than foriegn players and we will need them to start quickly. A couple that should be looked are Tom Rogic and Dembele from Celtic, both are in good form.
With the failure of the last transfer market we have no choice but to go for broke and it will be an interesting market.

Get rid of fernandes? Do me a favour! Scottish players? Only if we ARE relegated to div 1. There is easily players that can improve us that we can get if we want, that play in England that would improve us. Danny blind, sigarrdson, assombalonga, ifora wolves and if you must have a Scottish league player dembele is a good shout. The rest are a waste of time. The board need to wise up and revert to the to players we can get and not waste too much time on big names playing us for mugs.

Summer killed us
Agree there's no way we should be getting rid of Fernandes. The only real gem we picked up in the summer.
The fact we needed a RB and striker before AND after the summer transfer window shows how sh!t Bilic and the board done!! Also we shoulda kept Tomkins. Big mistake getting rid of him or not replacing him.
And as for the Scottish league....only player we should possibly look at is Dembele

That I mentioned you will see that Rogic is an Aussie and playing well and Dembele is being talked about by pool. The reason that I said look at the Scottish league the reason is that they occasionally come up with a gem but it might be easier for them to fit in to English football than to bring in players from other European leagues as they mostly need a fair bit of time to bed in. After Xmas that is something that we can't afford or we will end up going down.

the news that klopp does not want to sell sturridge in jan because of his lack of options upfront with players going to the African cup of nations and yet apparently we will do all that we can to get him..can see that dragging through the entire window we really tried our best to get him but couldn't get the deal over the line lol and oh yes apparently jenkinson is someone we are interested in...that's the same jenkinson who bilic didn't rate and reportedly wenger will block any move for him so that's another we will try hard to get lol queue the west ham fans banging heads against the wall....

One thing I can definately agree on is we need to look at players that don't need much settling in I can understand why people question nortveldt, zaza, calleri, tore, feghouli and arbeloa but if we go thro yet another transfer window without a striker or right back that can nail down those first team positions, I think I'm gonna scream! How many transfer windows is it now? Having seen noble in the last game and how he can't get himself around the pitch well I'm concerned, I have always stuck up for him but something is wrong either his legs have gone or he needs a rest or is not fit? I think bilic might have destroyed him by playing him in far too many games last season and that's why I think we should get sigarrdson to at least share the games. Jesus is this our worst window yet? Boy haven't we squandered some cash. Shocking.

I used to be an 8-10 matches a season fan in the last few seasons at the boleyn due to work,etc...but win,lose or draw i would still soak up the atmosphere on match day just like when i was a kid standing on the old north bank!!
This is the first season that i am not bothered about going,(apart from away games)i havnt been like this in nearly 50 years of supporting the hammers..sad state of affairs!!

If ever a club signed its own death warrant, what was wrong with uppers ,was it just greed on behalf of the three amegos ?i know one thing if we do go down i dont think theres any coming back and I'll always blame them ,to them it was a business venture and if it came off their stock would have gone through the roof ,instead it looks to have gone pear shaped and they'll just walk away saying "oh well sometimes you win sometimes you loose "
Has to be one of the worst
Has to be one of the worst transfer windows ever. Panic loan signings after we spent months chasing players who were always looking for a bigger, better club. 20mill on Ayew was a total waste of money, and these four have been absolutely dogshite Zaza, Tore, Calleri, Nordtveit. When you don't bring in players that challenge the existing ones then the previous seasons levels struggle to be achieved. Being totally toothless up front due to injuries and the aforementioned dogshite and had a massive impact and the rest of the squad just don't seem to be up for it.
The next 5 games go a massive way to determining what sort of 2nd half to the season we're in for. And after drawing City in the cup at least we know our focus can be totally on the league.
