What's with all the BS?

So Payet is bound for Manure, no wait Chelski are after him. Hold that thought, seems Arsenal have stepped in and are now favourites to sign him should WH not meet his new wage demands!!
Apparently his agent (no one knows his name, least of all any sports journo) is demanding an increase from 65k pw to 125k pw. I thought he was on 70k pw or was that 69k k plus 10k per appearance? Who the hell knows (least of all a sports journo).
Slav makes one off the cuff remark saying he's not for sale at any price and all of a sudden half the PL is scrambling for his signature!!! Are journo's illerate retards or something? Not for sale at any price suddenly means he's available to all and sundry? Am I missing something?
Now I'm pretty sure that Dimitri is not going anywhere. Of course nothing is set in stone in the crazy world of footbal but when your manager and owners all come out and state his importance to the team, the player himself states in an interview his total enjoyment playing for the club, the love of the fans and his delight in his own song; where the hell do the press come up with the idea that it's almost a done deal his playing somewhere else next season?
These journos need to move away from the farms. the whiff of BS is affecting their "ability" to write a factual story!

Sports journalists are retards. Fact is it's become the fashion to bash West Ham in the media. I was just thinking how long would it be before this rubbish would happen. Believe me it won't be just Payet who will get this. Last few seasons we had so many bad players they couldn't really do it so mainly focussed on the be careful what you wish for scenario. The club is definately moving forward but media attitudes to us aren't, well that's their fault. We have the best chance we have ever had to kick on and hold our players here if we want them. Maybe we can even start letting our squad players leave for decent money ala Spurs. Sit tight as reports for Lanzini will resurface regardless, along with song, cresswell, Carroll, Valencia, kouyate, Tomkins,Reid , ogbonna, Adrian and Antonio.

He "PAYET" - tweeted: "I say and I repeat I'm proud to wear the shirt of West Ham. My future is here and I hope for many years."

Same old story from lazy sports journalists... It would be funny if it wasn't so patronising. Our move to the OS is gonna put a lot of journalists back to school, they can't see progress - they just keep spouting the same crap and hope it sticks

Spot on Andy so patronising, like you say can't see (or except progress) for me Payet has conducted himself excellently so far at the club so I'm assuming it's tomorrow's chip paper. Having said that IMO I wouldn't extend ANYONES contract after ONE season. Whether it be Payet, bilic or whoever. If you want to earn another contract earn it by more than 1/2 a good season. The prem is full of players and managers that are one season wonders.

No - you're right there and it seems quite often in the PL, consistency goes out the window once a new contracts been awarded! I don't think we need to worry about Payet - as you say he has conducted himself well at the club so far. Given his playing history and performance at previous clubs and his being constantly overlooked by the France squad I think has grounded his expectations a bit. West Ham are on the up, with the move to a big stadium, soon to be getting Champions League football and he has already cemented himself as a fan favourite - he's finally getting the recognition he deserves, why would he want to go anywhere else?

Club have nipped this one in the bud and to be fair so has dmitri. He says he is happy and wanting to stay here for a long time and the club say neither Payet or his agent have come to them. Having said that the club has decided to re evaluate his contract themselves. Great reaction to the rubbish being reported.

Typical scaremongering journalistic cobblers and so unoriginal.
If I had a quid for everyone in the media (and people I know) suggesting that Dimitri Payet should be playing for a bigger club, I could retire on the funds.
The future is looking promising for WHUFC and I think this sticks in the throats of a lot of people.
Media wise, I don't think we've exactly been flavour of the month since the Tevez affair....The fact that we got the Stadium and a good deal out of it really put the tin lid on things - I get the feeling that a number of people want us to fail to be honest...B*llocks to them!

They have blinkered views 65 and don't have the vision or flexibility to think otherwise. Yes it seems to be tevez the turning point. They can wait forever to say they told us so, but in the mean time they are fooling no one West Ham. Anyone outside West Ham? Who cares. Carry on like this and they will soon be falling over us to get a piece of the action. Don't be a drongo journos get in early.

Red....I've just taken my lunch break to hear that an 'unnamed Chinese club' have offered £38m plus £135k per week (after tax) for Payet.....Media spin again??
That's a lot of money for someone who is nearly 29 (if true of course) but lets face it we don't want to lose him at any price do we??

If true but I doubt it 38 mill IS good money for someone Payet age but there are two points for me. 1 money in the prem isn't so important as getting quality players with the new money in the prem starting next year and 2 if at this stage we showed weakness with our quality players we will set ourselves back with people's perception of us. All g, s And bs good work will be undone as people we see us as still a team to pillage when the feel like.

Hot on the heels of Payet signing a new 5 yr deal keeping him at West Ham until 2021 the bullshit-o-meter has gone into overdrive with reports he's unsettled and Arsenal are prepared to swoop (Daily Cannon), and after rejecting 38mill from China, Chelsea feel they can get him for 45mill (Metro).
Here I am busting my arse making a living, when I could quite easily sit behind a screen and sprout this type of tripe and get paid for it!!

I'm now looking into starting my own rag, and am seeking the knowledgable faithful on here to provide some apt names for the crap I'll print?

Moore2 I have often thought about starting a load of bullsh1t rumours to see if any of the lazy journos latch on to them and make them news. I once did one involving Jason mcateer that was picked up by the news of the world just for a laugh.

I generally don't pay too much attention to what the gutter press put out as you can wipe your arse with most of what's printed but this one slayed me. It was all over the press we were tying him down to a longer improved deal, but still the press that worship the top 4 still insist on knocking out this garbage.
