Take the game from last night we were playing stoke at home and we play one man upfront and hit the long ball....the players were standing off letting stoke have the ball and when we had it they were in our faces immediately...we were slow and very poor with the ball...stoke if they had taken more of the chances that they had would of gone in two up but thankfully they were woeful in front of goal....now given how poor the first half was you would of expected a different approach in the second half but nope more of the same and I just kept wondering to myself what the hells your game plan moyes? fernandes/Mario did not have a clue as to what they were meant to be doing and most of the time the ball just was not getting to them because we were constantly hitting a long ball to arnie which was never working as even when he got the ball the support was so slow to arrive it was unreal....still 75mins on moyes decides mmm maybe 2 upfront may be whats needed and took off the dreadful Fernandez 75mins to late!..i was not surprised when stoke took the lead as they had shown they were more than capable of doing just that throughout the game and Hart showed yet again why you cannot afford to have him in your goal on a regular basis for all he did at chelski last week he undid all that with yet another basic error....panic button press errr lets chuck sicknote on and hope he can last the 5/6 mins to play..he scored a great goal and stoke were rocking suddenly moyes eyes saw what we all new we were playing a shit team with a poor away record and goals against record but to little to late...one up front mr moyes at home and sitting back hitting a long ball to that lone striker mmmm that's why you are Marmite mate.....for all the plaudits against chelski you deserve the criticism for that display last night

Always been a dirty side, the amount of fouls shawcross & co committed last night took even them to a new level!!The ref didnt help,he was still in juventus mode!!

Our problem started when they announced the team sheet it weren't rocket science same team as Chelski but drop Fernandez, and put Lanzini/Hernadez in his place if that system didn't work he still him on the bench. Could not believe all the corners we had and Carrol still not subbed until to the 85th minute.
When the second half came fully expected Chico to come on or Lanzini still nothing when Billic was in charge he would wait until the hour mark you could set your clock by him, Moyes would have been happy to plug away till last 10 mins because he did not want to upset the run of play HES A FU*KING DINOSAUR and only bought Fernandez on in the Southampton match because Antonio got injured. If he had played Lanzini Carrol Henandez earlier I Feel we would have run straight through the middle of them and won that game as it is we threw 2 precious points away. I must say his discipline and hard work ethics were just what we needed and the results we got against Arsenal and Chelsea made me think here's the "Moyesia" and we should give him a chance it was time for Billic to go - let's try something different. But after his defensive performance against the 2nd from the bottom club, tonight made me realise that West Ham are not going to get to next level with him and I'm not too sure I can put up with Moyes boring defensive football next season I could understand if it was Man city or Manure but not Stoke. One thing I will say he seemed more than happy with the draw and with 7points from the drop zone I think we are safe And who knows we are West Ham and we will probably beat Arsenal on Saturday And do things the hard way, but if Moyes still here next season we can look forward to another relegation battle.

Hindsight might be a wonderful thing but Fernandez was s*it against Chelski oh and who scored a great goal against them oh! Chicharito so it ain't hindsight its common sense mate, something Moyes doesn't seem to have, and if Lanzinni did break down you still got Fernandez on the bench if we had scored an early goal the game would have been a different game Stoke was nervy enough as it was especially when they got into the final third. This idea is not just a personal opinion how many fans said that they were disappointed that Hernandez didn't start

He sold him and Moyes became ex-manure as well you missed the point entirely we have been waiting for a top striker for years and he should be tried for at least the first half you don't know until you try it and that something that Moyes will not try And personally I think there is a bit of history between them, one things for sure Moyes didn't last too long at manure and if I had my way he would only last to the end of the season with us he's too negative. nearly every match his decisions are too late this was illustrated last night

you have to ask yourself what do we know about football? Apparently every man and his mother wants to buy Edimilson Fernandes including top European clubs. My bruv has personally volunteered to drive him there at no cost! I say he must be bloody brilliant to keep out Lanzini and Little Pea! :o) Keep smiling...COYI's!!!!!

...Moyes, Allardyce, Hughes, Pulis , Pards, Lambert, Bilic... all go with the safe option. One up front, try to keep it tight, swamp the midfield, hit them on the break. The game last night was crying out for a change. We were all over them like a rash and they were there for the taking. Just needed a few early changes. For the record I hate Mourinho but... We have seen him in the past make tactical substitutions after less than 30 minutes, sub even the subs and get results by showing bravery. Last night we had the strongest bench seen for years so options were there but cowardice ruled the day :o(

A lot of fans will be tearing there hair out...moyes choice to go 451 whilst understandable playing away from home the fact that as soon as he hauled off the not so super Mario and how the hell does he get picked to play fenandez for lanzini and chicarito we looked so much more dangerous giving arnie the support he needed but after the equalizer and a couple of minutes where we looked good going forward we sat back and unfortunately our fate was sealed...was that instructions from the sidelines I think it was...to much fear in trying to win a game nowadays and more about not losing.....anyways my point being 451 away yes understood at home against stoke never.....

In the process of avoiding relegation with an unbalanced squad missing key players for most of the time I’ve been happy to wait until next season especially as it looks like he’s going to succeed in the task despite today’s result against the Arse. After reading his comments on Declan Rice however I’m now reaching for the toaster and that jar of Marmite. Not good man management or more to the point young man management. We have some real prospects coming through so this isn’t the time for what should be said in the changing room made public through a reporter. This hasn’t got anything to do with avoiding relegation this was after the game where a professional minds the words that come out of his mouth. I’m sure Moyes is being paid well enough to get a simple management task correct. He managed not to humiliate Hart publicly after his Stoke cock-up so why get started with a teenager? Not happy!

Basically blamed him for the second goal so in the last 10 minutes. I’m not keen on managers singling out players to blame when speaking to reporters but I’d concede a little to that happening to a mature player on ridiculous money but nothing too detailed that’s for the changing room. Like I say Hart could have been ridiculed last Monday but that was skilfully sidestepped by Moyes. For what was said and supporter reaction take a look at this http://www.claretandhugh.info/moyes-blames-declan-how-the-fans-responded/

I’m okay with him tearing any player a new one in the changing room. Reporters don’t need to know. I think you’re right about his maturity but you never know with teenagers.

Maybe he sees a difference between Hart and Rice in that the kid is indeed a brilliant prospect and needs to learn from the mistakes and a little public shaming keeps you grounded. Should have happened to a lot more young players throughout the Premier League. Hart on the other hand has little confidence and blaming him would shatter the brittle shell he's built around himself from the one good performance he's put in this year and would probably send him over the edge! Oh and Sully would have told him to go easy on him after all he's the best professional he's ever worked with!

But wtf was he thinking!!sorry i dont care how young he is,if he played for a sunday league side it would have been embaressing to let the ball pass without bothering to get your head on it!!Too many basic errors conceded by us on sunday that you would not expect from premiership players...Masuaku i rate going forward but said it before hes a bloody liability in defence, hes positioned on the post so stay there,no he moves out of the way...our corners, set pieces are a joke at the moment also...Rant over ;)

Cant agree with you there 65 ,at 19 and to make a howler like that in front of 60 thousand is humiliating enough ,ill hold any more criticism of our manager untill i see the team sheets for Sunday ,if he drops Rice even to the bench he will be off my Christmas card list and also if he includes Mario and Fernandez that too wont curry any favour with me ,one more thing does anyone else think Masu has gone way down since he came back from suspension?
I hate to say it but Moyes is getting just like BFS

Burkie 1

I really rate him,but imo regardless of his age he deserved a bollocking!!agree though it's debatable if Moyes should have gone public rather than keep it in the dressing room!
