Feliping Ridiculous Stance By Lazio Condemns Anderson Deal

Greedy, out of touch and unswayable are terms usually reserved for the West Ham United hierarchy by fans, however the powers that be at Lazio have taken the elements of greed and stupidity to new heights by continually moving the goal posts over the Felipe Anderson deal. Mario Hussilos and Manuel Pellegrini have apparently decided enough is enough and are now looking elsewhere to recruit, but with the caveat of an offer that is still on the table, perhaps Hammers' should have been more astute when dealing with Lazio who have 'previous' when it comes to altering the terms of a deal just as it is about to be signed, the deal to bring the exciting Anderson to the LondonStadium is not quite dead in the water but will now require Lazio to be the ones to back track on their demands rather than West Ham jumping higher and higher to Lazio's tune!

Not signing Anderson will of course invoke the usual disbelief in the Board at West ham, but there is a limit as to how far a club can go, and in this instance West Ham have done enough so any further offer would be impractical, Lazio playing hard ball may bring about the unlikely scenario of Jack Wilshire being offered a two year deal which might tempt him whereas the one year deal that had been on offer would have been impossible for the player's agent to accept. It should be remembered that Wishire is only 26 years old and technically in his prime, with the news that Manuel Lanzini's injury is as bad as was first expected, the club will have to move fast to fill the void left by the little jewel's unavailability.

Hammers may have missed out on Anderson, it would be a shame to miss out on Wilshire as well, after all he will be a free signing who is surely worth the risk! Perhaps West Ham can take a leaf out of other club's books by signing him for free but on decent wages and the selling him on for a decent profit. - Ed

yes but why is it always us? we had this with Sporting last time round. Now Lazio? how come other clubs can deal with these clubs and get deals done? you do have to wonder.

Differences between the carvalho deal is that sporting said we never bid and our response was to leak a fake email with a ridiculous low ball offer. This time multiple reliable sources have said we have bid and the goal posts keep changing. Also the reason you dont hear about it from other clubs is because you dont follow other clubs or go looking for transfer news and itks of other clubs.

i know your defence of board borders on obsessive but to now make assumptions on what other people follow in terms of clubs and transfers actually makes it look worse lol.

I dont 'defend' the board I just don't think every single problem in the world lies with them like you and some of our fans seem to believe. Also i'm just saying DITM that I see alot about how why we seem to get these issues and no other clubs etc.. the same is said about FFP and why we take forever to get deals done etc.. when plain and simple our fans don't follow multiple itks and news sources for every other club. That being said I believe a lot of media outlets think West Ham fans are easy targets and easy hits with fake transfer news etc..

Fred I think there is more in the media about us because a lot of journos are supposed to be West Ham fans.

That's why, they all think west ham are a stone rich club with a big war chest, players to sell, and they want WHU the WHU wonga they have been saving over the last few seasons. But I don't think that it is as much as these clubs think, and later on further at the end of the transfer windowLazio come back with a better offer say 32million and a 15% sell on offer at the end of the window because Lazio have to sell him and no other clubs think he is worth that amount. By that time Pellegrini might have spent the money elsewhere. And that could be on Barkley Drinkwater or Loftus -Cheek. Whats the matter with keeping Antonio or Snodgrass and seeing how they perform and then improving the Squad in January. The most important thing is the Declan Rice contract, and I was surprised to hear he had the same manager as Wiltshire. Wonder if he will use Decan rice to push through a Wiltshire 2 year contract very exciting times

wish we was the 5th richest club!

Thing is we're not the 15th richest club, having a stadium worth over 500 million increases west hams value by hundreds of million in the eyes of these 'rich lists' we're not a cash rich club.

But we actually don't own the stadium so it would not count towards value. I'm surprised we're actually considered 15th considering we have no ground worth any money so there must be lots of loose cash floating around!

yup fred we dont own it, its not an asset. we also dont have the costs of building it as a debt so yes, we are 15 th richest, they didnt make it up to make the board look bad -sigh.

DITM your constant attempts to devalue my opinion by referencing me supposed defence of the board is starting to get boring a childish. Theres a reason we suddenly jumped up loads of places on that list as soon as we moved in to the stadium, before we even played our first game there. Also once again 15th richest club in value is not the same as being the 15th richest cash rich club because as I said before, our owners money is tied up in assets, like west ham, like in DGS case Ann summers etc.. Not oil rich russians or having the backing of a royal arab family.

but whats the owners of the club's assets got to do with how rich the club is? they don't base chelsea's wealth on abramovic's yachts. we're talking about the club's wealth. what you are blatantly leaving out is the fact that we rent the stadium and yet rake in the cash from 60,000 plus punters for each match and have been doing so for a while now. as for being childish and boring, get used to it, its a free forum.

Of course it still adds to it, thats why when we moved in to it we suddenly jumped up to '15th' Look at the accounts. We're not a cas rich club.

Revenue generated by the filling of said stadium on match days yes, but again all the others time's it's used the cash flows to LLDC of which we receive a percentage once it's earned a specific amount.

I was watching Batshuayi the other night remembering how Sullivan strung us all along about him. So we'll be signing Jack Wilshere on a free, then? Ah, that's more like it. And when we are bottom 3 come Christmas?

Then we'll sign Santa Claus, or more likely his missus!!

Now rumour has it that West Ham have upped their bid for Anderson, so a deal is very likely. Also, the other exciting prospect of signing the best playmaker and fellow Brazilian superstar Bernard for free is on the cards.
That would be a coupe to sign these two very talented players at the same time. Now you can thank me for this exciting news. LOL
