We never looked like loosing this and that is some turn around, well done to the management and players. I have in the past knocked Noble, but playing along side Rice he has been awesome

All looked rosey to me. Noble was motm easily. Having said that all the players did well both on the defensive side as well. Looks like the penny has dropped a bit with the new guys. I never felt manure would score and we looked more comfortable than last week. I think there is even things we will do better in a few weeks time. Bad news is our luck may have run out for a few weeks. Last 2 weeks I took the other half down the pub as we always get points when she's about and ditto this week. On the other side I have to listen to all the normal crap like is it 80 minutes long etc.

Once before Pellegrini's side lost their opening four matches but managed to finish the season in 3rd place. Can he repeat this feat. 7 points from the last 3 premier league games and deservedly so, along with a 8-0 thumping of Macclesfield. I noticed that Pellegrini rested quite a few players for the Carabao Cup, and still managed to pull out the biggest win in decades.

Noble has been transformed from a go backward player into a more creative midfielder. He deserved the MOM. Pellegrini really has addressed his negativity and lack of confidence in his recent games. His tackles are a lot more effective rather than those rash ones from his recent past. Along with Obiang and the very talented Rice, I have not seen our midfield dominate a title contender so overwhelmingly. Anderson is really beginning to give us that Pounds 40 Million worth that has costed to bring him over to West Ham. He seemed to address his early lack of defensive input later in the game as Man United looked more threatening in that area. Pellegrini must have instructed him put in some more effort in this area. But that goal scored was a quality back heeler albeit with the assistant failing to spot Zabaleta in an offside position. Finally a referee decision in West Ham's favour against our nemesis Man Utd. I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that Yarmalenko could be our second Arnatouvic if Pellegrini can transform him just like Moyes did to Arnie. He has done so and he has become an additional threat to all the defenders in the past three games. What can I say about the almost rock solid defenders aided by Young Rice? They have finally got their act together along with a very reliable keeper who made a terrific save from Fellaini's header to ensure that West Ham picked up all three points. Masuaku could be faulted for that goal as he wa slow to react to that corner, otherwise he blends in pretty well with Anderson and the two centre backs.

All I can say is that the team should keep on being focused with each and every on coming matches and not be too complacent when they take the lead. It could have been the case but that extra effort by all, saw the Hammers stroll to a well deserved victory.

The only problem with this match is the flipping media all goin on about what's gone wrong at M U instead of focusing on how brilliant we were

Always someone else’s fault but NEVER his own!!! Also conveniently forgetting ALL of the woeful decisions given in HIS teams favour since time immemorial. Up yours, Mr ‘not so special’ one!

One thing, I wasnt bothered about at first but worth mentioning - look at the possession stats, man u just edge it but we are only a couple of percent behind and we have the all important goals too. Playing like the home team when at home at last

All of those players must no the writings on the wall for them, the footy we played today was sublime and with Lanzini the only injured player we miss and some of the youngsters being given there chances by El Pel the future looks rosey as for the aforementioned time too get there agents looking for a new club.

and I'm watching the replay again now. AMAZING! Lukaku didn't score, Manure didn't come from behind, West Ham completed several passes in a row (many times!), the ref didn't do us in, no goals called back, Anderson had a brilliant finish, Noble was at his best -- WHAT WORLD DID I WAKE UP IN????? This just doesn't happen. Is the team coming together? Have we put that AWFUL start to the season behind us? Is the IRONIC London Stadium starting to come alive? Can't tell you all how elated I am at that performance, let alone the result. Let's pip Tottenham in the 4th Round Carbao Cup. UP THE AMMERS!!!!

Lukaku came close to scoring when he hit the goal-post with that header. But you are right, that we have a defence that bossed him throughout the game. Diop and Balbuena along with Rice in front of the two centre-backs have addressed that rather shaky defence that had leaked almost the most number of goals last season. This is also finally the same Noble that once combined with Tevez to save the Hammers from relegation almost two decades ago.
