Looked like we were going to succumb to a second straight defeat until Moses' best display since he came on as a substitute. The first half was devoid of any creativity by either teams. Valencia came close to scoring and did bring on a spectacular save by the Norwich keeper. Otherwise, Antonio and Payet were below par. Antonio was responsible for Norwich's first goal as he gave the ball away quite cheaply. Was surprised to see Collins backing away and allowing the Norwich player Brady to zip the ball past Adrian. There were no real saves from Adrian and I do not blame him for both the goals. The replay did confirm that that Hoolahan was offside. That poor indecision by the linesman was awful as he flagged Antonio in the first half when clearly, Antonio was onside. Even Valencia's numerous offside calls were borderline in a number of instances. The referee also had a poor game as he gave the free-kick to Norwich in a very dangerous position especially as the replay clearly confirmed that Obiang's tackle was clean. I could see why Bilic was so incensed that the referee had to have a word with him. Norwich got too many decisions going their way and clearly the pullbacks by players like Jerome, should have received some definite yellow cards. This was definitely Antonio's worse performance. He should have scored when he was through with the ball and had only the keeper to beat, but fluffed his shot. The Man of the Match to me was Moses in the way in which he set up our first goal. He really kept his cool, in spite of going down with that contact that the referee was not going to give. The manner in which he passed that ball to Payet to score really inspired the whole team to get something from this game. Yes, Payet was much more involved since the substitutions and seem to have a more free roll to get the momentum of the team up to speed. Ogbonna did not put a foot wrong and saved Collins, blushes with almost a similar giveaway to Antonio's in the first half. Byram and Cresswell were pretty good as well and their style of play are very similar. They really play as wing backs and do put in some great crosses for players like Carroll to take advantage of. Carroll should be near the middle of the goal to meet those crosses, as he seems to be too far wide when the balls are lobbed in. Noble and Song did lack pace but had satisfactory performances, although Noble was more involved in the second half and deserved that goal. Good for him as he is a true servant to the club. I think Bilic should throw caution to the wind and stick with the setup that finished the match. The exception would be starting with Valencia rather than Emineke. Emenike just needs more playing time as a substitute, before he should be involved in the starting lineup. yes I agree with everyone that he had the most glorious opportunities to put the game to bed. Guess, we have sacrificed our sixth spot to Southampton and instead should have been fifth after today. BFS did hand us that gift on a plate when his Sunderland side whipped man United earlier. By the way our game was the main game as they showed it on quite a few channels in Canada. So much better watching it on a TV channel rather than streaming on the internet.

i agree with everything, except it's difficult picking a MOTM from among Moses, Payet, Noble.

God we must have been bad if a sub that only played 30 mins could be regarded as a possible mom. Anyway guys, we don't have the right to beat anyone despite some comments. If we think like that then we will be the next Liverpool! I heard we haven't beaten Norwich at carrow rd in the league since the seventies!

I still however think Valencia is too light weight and loses the ball 99 times out of 100, he was however unfortunate with the linesman but with his speed he needn't go that early. We do miss Sakho and it will be good when he is back.

Chelsea v Newcastle highlights. Referee Roger East completely didn't see an ankle breaking tackle on a Newcastle player in Chelsea's penalty area. Now why am I not surprised ?
Norwich's second goal was definitely offside!

It certainly shows what progress this club has made under SuGo and Bilic when we rue the day we only manage a point away from home from a 2-0 deficit . Long may this continue and we are only going to get better and better.....

Our mistakes gave them the goals and they offered little else whilst we seemed to be going through the motions. Antonio looked knackered throughout and should have been substituted early doors in my opinion. At half time there were no Delia Smith pies and although I got down there at 40 minutes gone I was shocked to see no steak pies, and no alcohol being served? Not acceptable in my opinion!!!
