Potential Bananna Skin For Hammers In FA Cup 3rd Round

West Ham United have been drawn away from home to Shrewsbury Town in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. Shrewsbury have cup pedigree and could present a difficult challenge to David Moyes as he seeks to avoid the ignominy of an early FA Cup exit. During 2002 to 03 Shrewsbury enjoyed an FA Cup run, after dispatching non-league sides Stafford Rangers and Barrow, they won at home against Moyes' old team Everton in the third round in front of 7,800. Chelsea were the fourth round visitors, in a televised match on BBC's Match of the Day. Town lost 0–4, with Gianfranco Zola the man of the match.
Playing away against teams that are viewed as plucky minnows is inherent with danger, despite it's recent demise in fortune West Ham is still regarded as a big club, a big scalp, so some of West Ham's over paid luvvies may be forced to roll up their sleeves in order to take on a team that will be determined to achieve an upset, mind you some fans would question why defeat could be considered an upset bearing in mind what a garbage season it has been thus far! - Ed

Can't see us losing this one, and it's part of the formula to regain confidence.
