No this is not a 'click bate' headline although West Ham fans will think so, news has reached us at The Org regarding Tottenham Hotspur's attempt at extricating themselves from their uncompleted White Hart Lane Stadium dilemma by negotiating to play one game at West Ham United's London Stadium. Hammers london rivals had been expected to play their first game at the new ground on 15th of September against Liverpool but that match has now been switched to Wembley, their following home game against Cardiff on 6th of October has also been moved to Wembley.

An NFL fixture between Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders, scheduled to be hosted on 14th October, will also now take place at Wembley instead of Spurs' new arena, built on the site of their old White Hart Lane ground. The club had already agreed with the Premier League to play their first home game of the season, which is against Fulham on Saturday, at Wembley.

A venue for their Premier League game against Manchester City on 28th of October is currently 'to be confirmed', which has led to speculation that Spurs are due to 'request' the opportunity to play the fixture at the London Stadium. The application is being made to the LDCC appointed company as Hammers are only 'anchor' tenants as such and technically only 'own' the stadium for 28 days per annum, all the other days they do not! However, enshrined within the initial agreement that West Ham signed up to the club would have to give it's consent for such an arrangement to be reviewed let alone take place.

Ironically West Ham play Tottenham at the London Stadium on October the 20th and play their next home match against Burnley on the 3rd of November, which means there is technically a window for the Spurs fixture to be played, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy said: "We know this will be disappointing for all our season tickets holders, premium members and our fans worldwide, we are doing our upmost to ensure a smooth transition to our modernised state of the art Stadium but unfortunately require more time".

The above statement will wrankle with Hammers fans for two reasons, firstly why have Tottenham been given such a gracious accomodation by the FA when West Ham's request for a 'gracious accomodation' was denied last season? Secondly there should be no possibility that Spurs share the London Stadium in any way shape or form, but worryingly the LS operators have finally decided to change the colour of the pitch surround from green, but they have decided to use Tottenham BLUE not Claret!

Tottenham under the guidance of Daniel Levy have never shown any form of generosity to West Ham United, in fact they have taken great pleasure in relieving Hammers of many top players at bargain rates 'back in the bad old days' following relegation.

Logistically it would be possible to stage a one off Tottenham 'home' match at the London Stadium, but realistically the fall out would be enormous and unforgivable! - Ed

You need special dispensation to play at two different home grounds in a season so they will not be able to play at three.
Make them play away for first x amount of games until ready like we did, or bung the FA enough to get them to agree something else.

If the stadium owners think that Spurs playing at the LS for one game as the home side wouldn't result in them absolutely trashing the place then they are incredibly nieve or would they consider it just to wind us up? As that seems to be their aim of late.

Correct punishment there would be for Spurs to pay for any repairs and to play their home games behind closed doors for the rest of the season. Nice empty new stadium would serve them right and should act as enough of a deterrent to their "fans". Of course can't be allowed to happen anyway. Let em play down the park instead!

This Tottenham lot are the cheekiest bastards ive come across,im talking the club as a whole, those that run it down to the fans, the club gives off an attiude and always have of,we will and we can. They have always thought they have the devine right to be at the top, state they are bigger than us,constantly intercepted our transfers, and even thought they could take Stratford, which is our borough.I do hope this dosent happen, and it should not be allowed to happen,if it does there should be a protest.I CANNOT STAND THAT CLUB.
