The one bright spot on a dull day was the performance of Rice. He gets better every game. Pity we don't have four of him, it would solve our defence problem.

Oh ffs. This club is draining! After the week we have had surely we could expect just a little bit more from our team! Does everyone in this club just roll over without a fight? I'm as low as a snakes belly ATM but I just can't raise a care. We are just getting what we deserve as a club and a team. If and its a big IF we stay up now it will be the thinnest of margins. But I won't shed a tear of regrets if we go down.

a draw or 2 1 but 4 ffs. why ?? you cant blame the ref, even though he is a twat, manager? thinking about it.( team selection, one or two) but why should that make a difference when you have 20 + and you are playing a team in the bottom three!! HELP

Noble was better in the second half but still poor overall as he is the one who should be dictating in the midfield from the word go. Chicarito was a disaster, as he did nothing right and I was surprised that he was not taken off in favour of Mario who could have moved into Antonio's position, and Antonio taking Hernandez's position. Might have then been a more competitive second half. Yes Kouyate was poor today and that penalty gift was what killed the game. If it was 3-1, then there could have been some hope for the Hammers. Lanzini was non existent in the first half. I think he wants to go to Liverpool, as they have made it public that they want him and he has lost that enthusiasm since returning from injury. It is getting more and more disastrous overall for West Ham especially as Burnley is a must win next weekend, otherwise Championship here we come. We need Ogbonna back to steady the defence with his experience as Zabelata / Byram were very shaky in that role today. We have the worst defensive record in away matches this season. Something that Allardyce must be gloating, considering that the Hammers had one of the best defensive records under his tenure. Masuaku faces his last game ban and can start taking more control in midfield. He was the one that triggered some wins for West Ham with some creative displays, and once he got that ridiculous ban, the team seem to have gone downhill. But how Swansea did not get any yellow cards for their cynical tackles from behind is beyond me, especially with three yellows for West Ham. Hart will probably start next weekend as Moyes / Pearce must have seen enough of Adrian's poor performance today, and if he does West Ham a favour by not leaking any more goals, he could get a call up as a first choice for England.

After this poor performance by Adrian. The first goal crawled into the box. Did not see him make any spectacular saves. What game were you watching? Leaking 8 goals in two games is not first first team performance.

If Hart is called up and steps up to the plate, you never know. Not saying he will, " he could", okay? Now you get it?

I thought Adrian was mixed. That first goal he should have saved -- but I don't put it down to him. I think Ki should have been closed down. He always shoots from there. Adrian made some decent saves elsewhere. At the same time, two matches in a row shipping four goals, I started to think that London goalkeeper nomination has gone to his head. And Adrian is poor at some things: his goal kicks are inconsistent and his physical presence in the box on set pieces is suspect. Still might be better than Hart, though, and that's saying something. Going back up a couple of entries, I agree with your general assessment of players, Toronto. Noble and Kouyate were both terrible for me, and I have to say Lanzini and Hernandez too. And I didn't see much from Evra to impress me! But playing without any real centre half was just preposterous as well. What a different match it might have been if Collins and Ogbonna were available. (We'd have found some other way to lose, I suppose.)

Ah well, in the Championship we can get shot of all these players, bring back all those on loan "youngsters" who get older every year, and let Hugill lead the line. And Moyes will probably stay. ... Problem solved ... NOT

Absolutely gutted by that abject performance today. I feel for those fans that made the trek down to Swansea. We were second best in every way. Looks like we don't have the stomach for a fight going by today's crap. Totally inept. I fear relegation now. What a shite season.

It's only what we deserve after a disastrous season, highlighted by two UNBELIEVABLY embarrassing transfer windows. If dropping to the Championship hastens the departure of those three shysters, then all the better.

Personally I'm beginning to embrace relegation. It might bring in some real change at the club. After all we can't keep going on as we are.

If we get relegated, theres every chance that we will do a portsmouth, but at least maybe then a westham with our old identity might just rise from the ashes!!

not because they decided to broadcast West Ham games. We are not likely to get any points out of them -- except perhaps Arsenal.

BTW: that's a great little stat about the 1000th goal in the Prem. Ray of Light!
