perfect performance, well-controlled. Solid defense, Collins increasingly a fundamental element, good work in midfield and devastating attack. Payet seems to be back in top form

What a great game. What a great win. Done the double over the Scousers. Jurgen Klopp had nothing on Slaven. Benteke had nothing on Collins. The whole team deserved it. What a gut bursting game from Noble and Kouyate in the middle. Collins and Ogbonna - unbreakable. Tomka and Cresswell solid as a rocks. Antonio does this kid stop running back and forth great goal and great interventions at the back. Well done to Andy for getting the all important second goal. Great to see Payet back .. just hoping everything will be ok with little Lanzini. COYIII

Last time we'll ever play them at the Boleyn. Great to go out with a comfortable victory against a side that people were talking about winning the league! Done the double over them for the first time in something like 50 years. Many players who contributed big time to that match: Antonio, Carroll, Collins, Noble, Tomkins, and Lanzini were all terrific in my book, and Adrian (not much to do but did it well), Cresswell, and Ogbonna, were solid. Valencia got pushed off the ball too easily, but made a fabulous cross, Payet showed when he came on what we've been missing and what we might have again. What a fabulous match; great goals, great defending.

Lol he'll blame the early kickoff and the 'foul' on Moreno ( as would all connected to liverpool ) and it feels even better that way !

Lawro got the score right, but the result was backside as usual with his West Ham predictions. LOL. We have spanked five goals against the Liverpudlians this season and they have failed to score. Classic. MOM - Collins. Always was a fan of his and really is there going to be a spit for Reid. Our defence is proving to be one of the best in the past half dozen games. Good to see us scoring at the other end as well. Antonio is becoming a valuable player. Great energy, pace, strength and resolution to score and defend. His worth will double by the end of this season. Finally, he is taking those massive throw ins, that are rattling the defences. All in all you have to give credit to every single player as they were disciplined and not easily rattled. Payet although a bit cautious considering his recent devastating injury was sensational. He definitely has got the best ball skills and creative abilities in the premier division. Lanzini is a cause for concern. Hope he will return pretty soon, and might have scored an outstanding goal. The manner in which it swerved away from the keeper was sensational. Fifth in the table for now and hoping that Swansea do pick up at least a point from Man Utd. Am watching that match live, and they seem to have the better chances.

that we scored 5 against them in the league in a season. 85 years! And possible never scored that many while holding them to ZERO. That's a little satisfaction back against the FA Cup loss some 9-10 years ago. Yes, I hope Lanzini is not too bad. He's a creative player too and can stay cool in possession. Looked like a quadricep injury and not from a collision so I fear he will be out for some time. Let's hope not.

Some stat ashes cheers!Lanzini is not meant to be serious. He felt his groin a little and didn't want to risk it. Probably will miss Wolves but back after that I heard
