Wolves And Palace Via Amazon For Free

For all those fans fed up with paying subscriptions to watch the Barclays Premier League, the thought of adding yet another cost to that of paying Sky and BT is abhorrent, so when news broke that Amazon had entered the market by buying the rights to screen all of the games on match days 15 and 19 people were generally really annoyed.

Unless as a consumer you were already subscribed to Amazon Prime, you would need to either pay a £7.99 one off payment or take out a year's subscription in order to see West Ham United's two away matches against Wolves at Molineaux, on Wednesday the 4th of December which starts at the particularly strange time of 19:30 Hrs, and Crystal Palace which starts at the traditional time of 15:00 Hrs on Boxing day at Selhurst Park.

All is not lost though, because if you take out a 30 day free trial of Amazon by the beginning of December, you will be entitled to watch the games free of charge, but a word of warning, unless you want Amazon Prime and the services that you get with it, like free delivery etc, you must ensure that you cancel your subscription by the beginning of day 29 in order to not be charged.

Yet again the Premier League fixture software has dictated that Hammers play away on Boxing day, but at least the fixture is a London Derby and not too difficult to reach this time!

On the subject of match day attendance, ahead of Hammers clash with rivals Spurs at the London Stadium, the two Davids have issued a joint declaration about fans behaviour during the game asking them to show respect. Interestingly on the Tottenham website their advice to travelling fans is to get there early, which is what you would expect, but the list of Permitted items they are being told they may bring with them is eye opening, particularly the thermos flask! As a Hammers fan, try bringing one in yourself and see what security do about it at any one of the check points!
- Bags complying with the above bag policy (A4 sized)
- Blankets
- Plastic bottles with tops removed
- Thermos flasks

- Seat cushions
- Small, compact umbrellas
We are not sure what fans think about it, but one should imagine a Thermos flask could be a pretty offensive weapon if deployed by someone who chose to use it as such. Extra Police have been drafted in despite the game being an early kick off, with particular attention being given to the Overground and Underground routes that are bound to be carrying both sets of supporters simultaneously.
