1st knee jerk of the season

We played citeh we lost go figure 20 mins we looked ok but Anderson again just walking around how he was not taken off at HT i do not no and bringing on Forcandles for Antonio was strange indeed...i do not believe the side had the belief they could get anything out of the match so instead of having ago we just sat and watched citeh in 3rd gear play around us...mahrez all left foot how many times was he allowed to cut in onto it? to many is the answer diop looked lazy cressy ball watching for the first and ripped for pace....DEFENSIVELY not good enough citeh or not some of it was really really poor the basics were just not there...Of course we will not play teams like this week in week out but we made it to easy for citeh to easy indeed a lot of work needs to be done especially at the back which i mentioned all summer needed reinforcements....losing is no shame but losing at home 0-5 is a DISGRACE an utter DISGRACE.....Rock bottom of the league adrift on goal difference already only way is up i spose:-(

Just under prepared 1st game magnified because of the opponents. Players not familiar with each other yet. Haller, Fornals, we'll get there by April.......Ha Ha Ha...

ummm, not sure. City are the best in the Prem but yesterday he was naive. I havent seen the highlights but why was the Beast taken off? I would have moved him to the left and take on big nose because hes great going forward but a question mark on his defensive powers. Still... what do I know

Disgusting,i dont care who it is,first game of the season,at home, and getting turned over like that was a disgrace.Big stadium, big fanbase, filling the ground up every game, supposedly world renowned manager, money to spend on transfers.......ALL THE GEAR NO IDEA......Blokes jumping about and singing in the Carpenters after the game, like we had won the league,i had to walk out, after waiting all summer for the season to start, and seeing that shit served up,was too much for me,i didnt expect much out of the game, but in my opinion that was facking poor, first goal went in,and we immediately went down, same old West Ham,we wont beat Brighton,or Watford, well rooted to the bottom of the league, which puts a must win on the Norwich game, and we will still be in August, you heard it hear first top stuff hey, come on Pellegrini, prove me wrong.

I dont understand "Blokes jumping about and singing in the Carpenters after the game, like we had won the league" These were West Ham fans?????

Too right they were dartford, reckon 20 years or more younger than me,dont usually bother me always the same in there, but as i say that extra 20 years of shit results my eyes have seen was just too much for such a die hard fan like me,as my wife says and keeps throwing at me....All that money youve wasted on that shit lol

Were drowning their sorrows!!the only thing keeping our club alive imo is the gallows humour from our fans, but do agree you would have to be paralytic to enjoy yourself after that performance!!one thing I notice though VAR got the biggest cheer from our fans, irony or a bloody sign of things to come!!Essex that's the most suitable phrase mate..."all the gear no idea" sums it up perfectly

Your right 65,var is the only thing that could help us lol

The VAR has brought a new dimension 65 and the loudest cheer was for the disallowed goal and lets face it... we were never going to cheer a goal for ourselves!!!

So not in the know like yourself but what I saw on the telly it looked surreal with that VAR.the game is just getting bizarre imo,its turned into just a cash cow spectacle that I'm losing interest in with every passing season.sad really cos I used to live & breathe footie!!

I'm the same 65, I think its the obscene money thats sloshing around in the game that effects my interest. We have overpaid players with no heart or backbone for any club, a selfish nature thats just all consuming :o(

True 65. Players are paid out of this world sums of money but almost feel like they shouldn't show up for "work" in case it messes with their image. Check out Cresswell leading the team out on Saturday. Must have spent ages on his hair! Then played like he didn't want to mess it up!
Reading SS earlier on Neymar possibly going back to Barca. PSG looking at withholding his monthly bonus cos he's not training!! MONTHLY BONUS on top of his salary. Fcuk Me! All they do is kick a ball around

still hard to take but you'd hold your hands up but with stones and La Porte in the middle of defence we had a chance but the players never played with any pace or FIGHT it was as if El Pel had said to the team we cant win so just take it easy...Far Far to many did and if you ask any Citeh fan they will say that there team did not have to play that well to win by that score and who could argue with them...1st game maybe but Brighton after there excellent result against Watford will be bang up for it next weekend first home game for them and new manager they could not of picked an easier side to play against! well lets see if the players and manager are worth there wages.....Anderson should be on the bench if not left out the squad altogether to put a rocket up his backside...plenty of wide options so snodgrass starts for me Yarma on the bench Lanzini and Forcandles swapping in the hole behind AlloAllo

I agree mac,Anderson in my opinion is overated, when he came off, strolled round the pitch waving to fans like he had done wonders i could of kicked him myself.

I think we'll lose the first 6 games as per usual. everyone else always seems far more fired up, more of team than we do every season ffs.

That's it Dicksy the truth, easily 6,struggle to get out the bottom 3,cock up each of the cups in the early stages, and finish not quite mid table, another wanky season.
