more to the point beware the whole month.....this is without doubt going to be slavens toughest test yet. spuds up first under the lights so hopefully a better display than what was served up yesterday against sunderland and make no doubt about it unless we are at our best against the spuds(much as I hate to say it)we will struggle because they are a very good side...hot on the heels of that match we face everton our bogey team so that's two very hard fixtures to start with...follow that with our cup match at manure and whilst not the power they once were its another hard match after that its chelski and again its not the team we beat in October this is a team of top players who have got the monkey off there back called moanrino and are playing more like what they are capable of.....so that's march bloody tough for sure and april starts with to local derbies as in palace and arsenal so the next few weeks will tell us a even more about our talented squad I just hope we don't start slow in any of those matches COYI

Should'nt that be "sides"......but I agree about upping our game for the next six weeks or a slip to the lower end of the top 10 is on the cards...In Slaven I trust.

Yes, it's a tough fixture list, but I think that yesterday we proved we are not the same team that faded into oblivion (a.k.a 12th) last season. The lads really want to push on and Tottenham is the start of that. Spurs will have had a more recent match when they come to face us, under the lights, in the final season at Upton Park. I reckon everyone will be up for that. Everton away would be a good chance to get the monkey off our back -- I think we are quite capable of that. Chelsea away -- yes, I think that will be hard. If we get 5 points from those three fixtures, I'll be VERY happy. Our run in the rest of the way isn't easy, but we have a very good chance of reaching our best EPL tally ever (I think that's 55), and although it will be a battle to the death, I predict we will finish either 5th or 6th.

i knew this day would come , when totalscum were creeping up the table and none of the pundits were mentioning them i had a century on them at 10/1 ,think their 5/2 now , anyway does anyone see my dilemma, i know ,i know never let your heart rule your head , or is it the other way round ?anyway im afraid im going to commit a cardinal sin , you all know what i mean, i dont have to spell it out , and i hope some day you can forgive me ,maybe not tomorrow ,maybe not next month , but soon and for the rest of your lives you wont still be saying "Burkie's a right bollocks "

Burkie 1

I reckon a 5th or 6th position in slavs first season, would be a great success..
Some tough games ahead but as stated above all those "tough" sides wont fancy playing us either!!
The sign of a good side is when you play not great & still win (like yesterday)....
Special mention to the fans in the east stand yesterday, thanks for making me chuckle!!!;)

it is true it will be a tough schedule, but we should not fear anyone, we are able to come out with good results. Do not forget that we have important players injured and they are coming back to, so we will have more solutions

Read in the sunday mirror this morning, him writing a piece about klopp becoming an anfield god if they lift the carling cup!!! & comparisons to shankly, paisley etc...probably lazy journos as usual or a deluded ex player-Take your pick!!For me the man is totally over-rated,& im more than happy with slav...his honesty alone is refreshing!!
