Struggling for form lost our mojo our season is fizzling out and the manager is at a loss as to how to get a tune out of the players but clearly it is obvious to everyone but Moyes and co if you flog a dead horse for long enough it will fall to its knees and with our wafer thin squad that is what he has done.

I have no problem with Moyes prefering a small squad i don't but where he has fallen down as we all know is in the recruitment area and if you are going to play a season with a small playing staff you have to make sure that those who take to the pitch are looking over there shoulder if they do not perform they get replaced it is that fear that drives players to perform better watching yesterday it was clear no one player was worried unless of course you are Benny or forcandles.....look at the bench yesterday a keeper who Moyes clearly does not fancy young Johnson who we all must be wondering why he didn't start ahead of Fredericks then Diop lets face it one pass last week cannot redeem his dreadful displays this season but if we keep him he clearly needs intensive coaching...Yarma/noble/Kral 3 who will not be playing for us next season..Vlasic now there is a £35million conundrum...followed by a couple of kids Alese/Chesters who unless we were3-0 up would not get there kit dirty.

So the perfect storm this summer of Moyes and the transfer market and having to get a minimum of 8 players in personally i would be amazed if he managed 4......when we announce a new signing it is mainly for the U23's and potential and again nothing wrong with that but when none are blooded(Oko-Flex for the kidderminster game being the perfect example)for one reason or another you do start to worry as to why.

So as fans we wait as our team tumbles to a very respectable 8th in the league by seasons end(hope i am wrong there)what players will we attract?A season where manure/gooners going through transition spuds imploding Leicester going back to where they belong a very big opportunity has been missed by our club but hey we can cross our fingers and hope beyond hope that 2023 is the end of one era and a start of a shiney new one untill then the summer transfer market of 2022 is going to be a difficult time for dithering Dave and his cohorts.

We will look back at the Leicester and Newcastle game then there was Brentford all games we should have won and I think it will be the 10thplace that we end up, no cups and no ambition but all this board are hoping for they have achieved -few more bob out of the Europa staying up this season and pissing off with the doe in 2023 with the whole team needing an overhaul

Why are they games we shoudve won? We were outplayed by Leicester and Newcastle. Flip it n say we got a point instead of none and I would agree.

Tough to win games when you don't turn up. Our performance Newcastle yesterday was pitiful. Why in the second half we didn't go after it I have no idea. Every player just stood around hoping the ball would come to them, only to give it away or fail with the right pass. Too much going backwards.

Now Moyes has come out and admitted our players looking tired and such a small squad it is starting to take its toll! and laughably saying he tried real hard to add to the squad in January really David you sure? putting in ridiculous bids for players whose clubs are struggling to survive why would they sell? i think as we are dropping down the table and out of the cups Moyes may be realising that he made a booboo or two last summer and January
